Yoders Restaurant - Sarasota (FL)

5 /5 Kayla Conover: We arrived around noon on a Saturday. The line to dine in was wrapped around the building & we were told the wait would be about an hour. Instead of waiting, we ordered from the carry out window. Our food was ready in about 15 minutes, and we ate it in their seating area out front. The roast beef sandwich with au jus is something I will dream of having again - it’s pretty basic but delicious nonetheless. We went to the gift shop and farmer’s stand as well. Bought oatmeal whoopie pies, a piece of chocolate cake, and apple butter. All were good, but the chocolate cake was surprisingly dry.

4 /5 Little Skittles: Very popular restaurant, so dont be surprised if there is a wait. Also seems a popular place for takeaway. Service is friendly. Food is hearty and plentiful. While tempted by the desserts, we simply didnt have room in our tummies to give them a try. We did, however, purchase some cookies which were greatly enjoyed later that day. On site, there is a gift shop/bldg, and a separate coffee shop with baked offerings. Worth the short drive (~15 mins) for from the interstate for a nice meal.

5 /5 Leanna Hickam: While waiting in line we saw the portions. We shared a fry and each ordered burgers. We couldnt finish. Huge portions and tasted great. We live about two hours away but will return. Hubby bought shoofly pie and is extremely happy!

5 /5 Gayle Mercado: Yoders restaurant is such a cozy place with great staff and excellent home cooked food. Their food is amazing, great pies and cake. Always a must stop when we go to Sarasota. Their fried chicken, BBQ pork, stuffing and mac n cheese are excellent. Their desserts are amazing. They have a restaurant, gift shop and market as well. Will definitely return here when we are back in the area! Lovely people here as well.
