Highly Recommended 14 Dinner Restaurants Near Pompano Beach, Florida

Shula R Located on Pompano Beach near to the fishing pier, this restaurant and bar is a gem! Very spacious, multi level, indoor and outdoor seating, well versed menu, and delightful drinks are just some of the highlights of this spot. My favorite though is the upstairs stadium type seating that overlooks the beach…amazing!!! Service was pretty good and our waiter was knowledgeable and made spot on suggestions. Started with the Mint to Bee cocktail and it was strong in the most perfect way. Knob Creek, honey, mint, lemon are a delicious refreshing combo. Then came the crispy fresh catch which delivered on fresh and crispy. The challah bun was a nice surprise and the slaw was a good addition to brighten it up. At our server’s recommendation we swapped out the fresh cut chips with the Parmesan potatoes and OMG!! It was a hunk a hunk of burning love. Highly recommend for your tastebuds but maybe not your waistline. Lastly we finished off with a key lime pie. Solid key lime pie but nothing over the top. Looking forward to returning to try more items and enjoy that view.

The atmosphere was equally impressive, creating a warm and sophisticated setting that made the entire experience truly memorable spinach deep always a most!

Adel Abushmais We had a wonderful experience at La Vie! My friends and I went for lunch and tried a variety of dishes — kebbeh, hommus, falafel, spinach pie, and the grills. Everything was delicious and tasted authentically prepared. The lady who served us was amazing — warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. She really made the experience even better. The seating area is nice and spacious, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. We also learned that they’ll have a belly dance night in a few days, which sounds like a fun addition to the atmosphere.

Rose Hernade St Gilus I had my wedding at Gallupi’s, both the ceremony and the reception. It was amazing. Melanie and Ray are exceptional. Melanie made herself available for any questions/issues even during her vacation. She was very supportive and understanding. She understood that I was very busy and was very patient with me and my team. Ray was very supportive on the day of the wedding and did his best to keep us on track. I would highly recommend this place. It’s very beautiful. I loved the outdoor setting for our ceremony. No regrets at all.

Mel G One of the best parts of visiting South Florida is the incredible variety of food you get to experience, and Peruvian cuisine has become a must-have for us over the years. We first discovered it in Hollywood Beach, FL, and have been huge fans ever since. Unfortunately, our three favorite Peruvian spots have all permanently closed, so on this trip we were on the hunt for a worthy replacement—and that led us to Aromas del Peru. Right off the bat, things started strong. There was plenty of parking (not always easy to find in South Florida), the restaurant was easy to locate, and we were greeted immediately with no wait to be seated. Our server was friendly, welcoming, and very efficient throughout the meal. For drinks, we both ordered the passion fruit piscojito, and wow—the presentation alone was an 11/10. Even better, the drink itself was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. I have a serious weakness for Risotto Huancaína Lomado, and Aromas del Peru’s version absolutely held its own against some of the best I’ve had. The risotto was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, and the steak was cooked exactly to order (medium). Overall, our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Aromas del Peru has officially earned a spot on our must-visit list, and we’ll definitely be back on future trips to the area.

Marissa Beverly We had the best experience! The grouper was incredible — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Our server, Kristina, made the whole evening even better. She was so kind, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell she truly cares about her guests’ experience. Highly recommend both the restaurant and asking for Kristina when you visit!

Andrea Doria Ainhoa, Angelica and Juan were absolutely amazing. They were so patient with me and helping me order. Also, they made sure I was at the right restaurant to pick up my order or it would’ve been somewhere else. I’m not sure if this is a corporate office or someone owns this KFC but they should be recognized for their kindness.

Barb Wood Went for Happy Hour, stayed for dinner. Excellent service. Delicious food. I had the Truffle Mushroom Pizza with caramelized onion on g/f cauliflower crust and my hubby had Buffalo wings. The wings were large and saucy and that pizza!!! OMG, it was fantastic, (even the gluten eater thought so) 10/10 A beautiful evening to sit outside and enjoy the moment.

Donald Prescott I really enjoyed this place. Nice atmosphere and not busy at the time we went, 5pm. I had the fish and chips which was too much so I brought some home. my partner had the prime rib sliders which she really liked. Fries were very tasty. I plan to return. The drink was also very nice

While the food was absolutely spectacular—as it consistently is every single time we visit—what truly made the night unforgettable was the exemplary service provided by our waiter, Dorian. Dining out on a busy holiday can sometimes feel rushed, but Dorian made us feel like the world had slowed down just for us. He truly enchanted our table with his effortless charm and warmth. It is rare to find someone who balances such high-level professionalism with a genuine, magnetic personality. Dorian didnt just serve us; he curated our entire evening. His presence brings a certain magic to the room, and quite frankly, Gianni’s wouldnt be the same without him. He has a way of making a great meal feel like a special event, and his dedication to his craft is evident in every detail.

Elegantips Inc Our first time here and it was terrific! Our server was Alexis who had a great personality and was very helpful and attentive - food was excellent: wings in all flavors, delicious ribs, tasty salad and hand cut curly fries. We’re definitely coming back!!

Kara K. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it yet! Checkers is where you go to feel like family. The staff is so welcoming and the food is great. I love the selection of beers both bottled and tap. They recently added a full liquor bar and even an outdoor seating area with live music. Definitely come in for a great time!
