Highly Recommended 9 Dinner Restaurants Near DeFuniak Springs, Florida

PAUL RITZ On my visit here in June 2024, I had good service and good food. My order was taken quickly and food was out in good time. I had asked for no seasoning on the fries, and they delivered just that. Even added some "extra" ones in a box with the meal. Dining room was clean, and plenty of space even for the 12:00 rush. This is next to the interstate interchange, so a lot of non-locals eating here.

Israe Rodriguez I work for Amazon and i decided to come in after my route. Kaitlyn and a young gentleman were managing the store, to say the least great job to them and the team. I ordered a patty melt with an extra patty with avocado and jalapeño on a brioche bun and it’s by far the best burger I’ve had from Whataburger. If somebody told me that the burgers were cooked on a golden grill that sings opera when you cook on it, I’d absolutely believe it. What an outstanding location, this will be my usual.

Nicole Smallwood-Otero We were hungry and on a hunt for good found and somehow stumbled across this place, Eds Restaurant. It was like a hidden gem. The service was amazing and the food was too! It was simple, straightforward and not pretentious, just good American diner style food! The same family has been running it since 1964 and never compromised on the flavor!! My husband had a classic Pub burger with fries and a hot dog. I had a grilled teriyaki chicken sandwich with onion rings, corn nuggets and a handmade hot fudge milkshake. When I tell l you that the food was so shockingly good, it disappeared fast!! If you are ever in this area of Alabama, please give Eds a go, you will never be disappointed!!

curtis tatum Michelle was awesome. Best bar tender in Walton County. The wings were ice cold and the beer was hot. I recommend anyone near the north end of 331 to come see her. Full bar, beer on tap, family atmosphere.

Rico Martinez Wow, it’s been a while since I have been to a Waffle House and I am glad I went to this one. The staff was amazing ! So kind and hospitable. When you think southern hospitality Kathy is exemplifies it. Our food was so delicious. The waffles were tasty the patty melts were amazing. Just an amazing experience at this Waffle House. To give some perspective I tried to go eat here for breakfast and lunch and it was so packed I couldn’t even find a place to park. I see why this place is awesome !!

A Vann We stopped here on our way home from Destin Fl for Breakfast. The service was great, the food was fresh & the bathrooms were very clean. The best Sonic restaurant weve been too. Thank You!!!!

William Stewart The food is over the top good! As far as the service it was mediocre at best. But the food far outweighed any service issues that we had. Refills are almost non-existent through the waitress. But this was our first visit to this location. It will not be our last because the food was that good.

Lura Hickey I order doordash for delivery because I am unable to get to the store. Tonights order was very good except for my chicken tenders were not included. When I called the store they admitted it was their fault and that they would be happy on my next order for me to call them and ask for the manager and there would be no problem with their adding the chicken tenders to that order what impressed me was how pleasant the manager was that I spoke with she made me feel very comfortable especially with her admitting that they didnt add it to the bag before the Dasher picked it up.

April McG This place is fabulous! We stopped in for lunch and everything from start to finish was perfect! Our group ordered the gumbo, red beans and rice, shrimp po boy and took the beignets to go! Will definitely make a special trip to visit again!
