While I didn’t know the name or place at the time, this is the church I prayed for many years to find. It is Scripturally founded and Holy Spirit led. The people and Pastors exude Agape love. From infants to the aged, we are all surrounded by effective, heartfelt care. I love this place. This is my home and these are my people. I simply couldn’t imagine recommending any place of worship more highly than Anchor Faith Church.

You can’t judge if you attend only one time, you have to understand the vision. The pastor knows the word; wonderful teaching. This is a place to go if you want to change and not live a religious life. They have the kingdom Institute to prepare new leaders. They give the opportunity to use your gift. They care for the youth. They serve the community in different ways. They support churches and ministries all over the world.

And, the sermons are always a great message to apply to your week. The childrens and youth programs are a great learning and social environment for our community kids. Martha Yamnitz, Childrens Director and Jessica Chaulk, Youth Director, ensure all children and youth have great experiences with all of the different projects they do together. And, they learn and experience spiritual growth as well as how to care for the planet as well as the community in the things they do. There are many different programs to choose to join at Grace UMC as well. Its a great family atmosphere!!!

Savannah Durdin: I’ve been going to those food bank for a little over 2 months now which the selection that they give you is great! And my family and I are very grateful for since times have been tough. Unfortunately every visit I have been there some of the volunteers are just awfully rude! They make you feel almost worthless to come and get food from this church which is very hurtful in a way. I just recently had my wallet stolen and the ID card that they issue you was in my wallet, I came this Saturday morning to get another one and the lady told me I could not get another one unless I showed her my police report. She made me feel like I was a criminal trying to take food somehow from everyone else when in reality my family and I are just trying to get by. As a church I am very disappointed in this facility.
