Montero Nelson: This was a relaxing short walk around the boardwalk. We went early in the morning and saw a few locals (wildlife). You can also go fishing at one of their piers. Its also a memorial for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Freedom is NOT free!
David Waszmer: We stopped in during our lunch break during the holidays to view the local school kids art. The artists were from various grades. The Art Center was decorated beautifully. There are many talented kids in the local area. There was no admission fee but we made donations. This is a gorgeous historic building.
Larry Epperson: Really enjoyed the hike on the trail. We saw a lot of different birds. I wish there was some kind of markers on the trail so you know for sure youre still on the trail. Its a long almost 4 mile loop and nothing to tell you that youre on the trail
Fort Myers Reviews: Small little private park in which there is a cute little bench overlooking the Caloosahatchee River with a stunning view of the waters. There is also a large banyan tree which provides a nice, shady place to rest.
John Outman: We keep adding to our collection, such vibrancy and life! Recently ordered several prints and a canvas, excellent service, received quickly and in great condition.
Jason Taylor: The park is well shaded. Two sets of swings in the shade. Ive got twin 3 year Olds, and they can safely use all the equipment safely.
Also there are very few blind spots.
Darla Dume: Not a dog owner but we humans enjoyed the walking trails. There are several so you can get a short walk or a little longer route depending on what you’re into. Our route was about 1.5 miles.
The trails are either raised grass or soft sand. The sand trails had some ruts and roots but was mostly level. The dump next door had a lot of vultures and ibis. The lake had herons and egrets. Many butterflies fluttering around.
