5 /5 Oscar Vilchez: Beautiful Park with a clean play ground that has turf grass which is so much better than mulch or rubber particles. The playground equipment is really nice and adequately sized for smaller children 2 and under which is great for our little one, as well as 2 and up. Has a track/walking path with a large grass area in the center.

4 /5 Ariel W.: This is very nice neighborhood park. If you dont live in the area there is no reason to make a trip out here but if you do live near here this is a great place to take the kids to play and help you keep active. The park only has about 6 parking spaces. There is a small pavilion and playground. The main attraction of the park is the large green space perfect for kids to run around on or play football or soccer games. The perimeter fitness path that runs at the edge of the field is a half mile and can be used for running, walking, and biking. Dogs are allowed if they are on leashes.

3 /5 Nefertiti Toussaint: This is a nice neighborhood park, but not great. Pros: Swings for babies (2) and big kids (2). Very shady from large trees which encourages wildlife. Great walking trail with some shade for stroller or dog walks. enough benches. Pavilion, but you need to bring chairs to use Cons: only playground slide area is definitely for toddlers (says 2 -5, but i would say 2 -3). The area for age 5 - 12 is a climbing apparatus. It is a good climbing apparatus, not too big not too small, but limits play types. Has a tendency to flood when it rains. Not much parking (it is a neighborhood park though). No fenced in area.

5 /5 Edelys Armas: I love taking my daughter here. There are swings for babies and bigger kids, a small slide, and a rope obstacle course. Always very clean and quiet.

Bench by the water - Delray Beach Jennifer Broke: This is a great bench, sturdy and well-made. A wonderful spot to sit and ponder... The view is spectacular, the lizard is friendly... just be careful of the squirrel, hes a little squirrely.

Anchor Park - Delray Beach Bruce K.: I spent a decent amount of time here at Anchor Park as it was the only spot that I could find a parking space along Delray Beach. It has entrances on A1A (look for the anchor) and from Gleason Street. In addition to the larger parking area, there are picnic tables, a nice covered playground and a cinderblock restroom building. The parking lot is nicely shaded so maybe you wont have your car melted after you spend a day in the sun yourself.

Atlantic Dunes Park - Delray Beach Michael Bellomo: Atlantic Dunes Park is a perfect beach to keep away from the crowds. Small paid parking lot across the street and fills up quickly on weekends. Restrooms and shady area next to beach entrance. Lifeguard station beach with umbrella and chair rentals. Staff on week and weekends cleaning the area.

Delray Beach Ghost Tours - Delray Beach raskel: You will never get to know the history of Delray if you miss out on this extremely informative tour that gives you the understanding of why ghosts would decide to stay and connect with the living instead of moving on. The guide and the assistant were professional, intelligent and friendly. Worth the money.

Lake Ida East Park - Delray Beach Bruce K.: Lake Ida East Park is operated by Palm Beach County and is a peninsula that extends from the south shore of the lake to the north. It is 20 acres in size making it one of the larger parks in Delray. Note that its quite deep into the residential neighborhood so be respectful of the neighborhood as you come and go. While the park does not have a boat launch (see Lakeview Park to the east), there are launches for canoes and kayaks. Fishing is allowed here with a permit. There are a number of picnic areas with barbecue grills, a picnic pavilion that can be reserved through the county and a nearby playground with restroom facilities. This park shares the parking lot with the Delray Beach Playhouse. On a warmer morning, it was nice to be near the water. On a hot day, its got to be fabulous.

Veterans Park - Delray Beach Brent Franklin: This park is a great family spot with a fun playground that keeps the kids happy. There are clean restrooms and a shady gazebo right by the Intracoastal, perfect for relaxing with a view. You’ll also find a nice covered picnic area that’s great for lunch or birthday gatherings. The big open lawn gives plenty of room to toss a frisbee or let the kids run around. It’s a peaceful and well-maintained space for a day out in the Florida sun.

Cornell Park - Delray Beach Bruce K.: Delray Beach did a good job reserving this as a green space and ensuring that this part of the city has good drainage and buffer to keep the neighborhood in good shape and limit sprawl. This is a large park but its quite passive. There are no ballfields or playground here, just a nice walking trail and open space area. On this Saturday morning when I stopped by, there were some fellow friendly folks who were walking around the park with me. Nice! Leashed dogs are permitted and all that I encountered were also friendly. There is no specific parking, just pull onto the grass but be careful you dont sink in or damage it!

Barwick Park - Delray Beach Stella Drujit: Great playground! The kids always have so much fun fun going there! The playground looks so futuristic. Few things: take water food and snacks with you. picnic tables are shaded. The restrooms are by the parking lot so use it when you get there because it’s a bit of a walk to the playground.Hope your kids have fun!

Delray Oaks Natural Area - Delray Beach Michael Jimenez: Nice Tltiny trail which leads to a nice wooden deck under the shade of trees. Great for a brisk walk to get away from the city life. I didnt see any bathrooms around so keep that in mind if you visit.
