1 /5 Hannah McLendon: My daughter who suffers with a mental illness was attacked by another child. I tried to bring it directly to pastor and another member of church. Even other adults from different churches tried to tell them what was going on. Pastor and the elder made no attempt to rectify or stop my child from being assaulted. The next day an elder from the church talked very ugly on the phone calling my child the problem and being upset that I wanted something done. Even had the nerve to call me disrespectful because I wasn’t cowering down to her harsh words and false judgement. The pastor when I tried to reach out to him and his wife blocked me. I only wanted to discuss like adults what happened. Will never go back to that church again. I tried to report them but not upci had any doings with them. I highly would not send my children here alone. The pastor or elders have no care for what happens on their campus to children or between them.
