5 /5 Eizu Fredrickson: A small but packed museum focused on the role that Camp Blanding played during WWII. The guide was very welcoming and well-informed about the history of the place. Free entrance, although a donation is recommended. The building and outdoor displays are all outside of the military base, so you dont need to go through the gate for this experience. After youve been through the museum, there are several historical military vehicles on display outside, on both sides of the street.

5 /5 Sara Wski: Great grounds to walk. Lots of vehicles, aircrafts, tanks, memorial/dedication stones on the grounds. The museum has lots of memorabilia and history inside. I learned it was a POW camp 1942-46 for German soldiers.

5 /5 Laura Kittle: Weve driven by this place 100 times and never stopped in. Im so glad we did today. It was a beautiful day for it. The inside museum was fascinating paying homage to those who served in WWII from Camp Blanding. The outside part paid honor and respects to all military personnel, those from Camp Blanding, but also those who served in other capacities for the state - women, African Americans, etc. All of this and cost of entering is nothing. They accept donations and have a cute little gift shop.

5 /5 Sharon Martin Andre: A wonderful, FREE museum of only World War II memorabilia and artifacts. It has information on many little know facts of the time. Darrell showed us around and was very helpful with added details about the displays. There is also a small gift and book shop. Outside are many vehicles and planes from different services. The grounds also have numerous memorials and monuments to all branches of service and conflicts.

5 /5 Shane Cherniss: An amazing outdoor museum honoring the brave soldiers who have placed their lives in harms way to fight for our way of life. They have plaques recognizing the various military units. They have a wide assortment of vehicles and aircraft. They have an outside area to picnic. This is open to the public. My gratitude to those who have supported this museum. You can spend a good couple hours outside walking around.
