Christina Barnes: This was a very creative and sweet activity to do with my 3 little kids and my mom (their grandma) as a birthday gift for her. Would recommend especially arts and craft interested kids and families who love the beach!
amelia h: Gorgeous beach, really great experience but they do have rules and restrictions. Day pass is $30 or you can get a annual pass for $150. You can’t drive right up to the water, there’s designated areas you can drive/park and you have to park at the farthest area back away from the water. Super busy on weekends, hard to find a spot.
Wolfgang Wendland: The main pier was closed while I visited, but overall it was a great area. Well manicured, plenty of free parking, and lots of walking space to enjoy the river views.
Shane Mann: Nice course and lots of cool props. My son and I enjoyed playing there. Pricing is a little high but being on beachside in Daytona Beach, it’s geared more towards tourists than locals. Still an enjoyable day out in the beautiful weather!
Roads Traveled Photography: On this site in 1975 was found the best preserved and most complete giant ground sloth ever found in North America. The sloth weighed three to five tons, stood thirteen feet tall and was a vegetarian. An estimated fifty species of animals were unearthed approximately twelve feet below the surface of the ground. The age of these findings is estimated to be 130,000 years old.
Jennifer Nanek: This is a beautifully restored historic House of a very famous Floridian..Mary McLeod Bethune.
My tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. It took me 20 minutes to come and see this hidden treasure.
A highly recommended visit for any history geek.
