5 /5 Bernadette Serafini: Coming from a Catholic background I was pleasantly surprised how relaxing, forgiving and exhilarating coming here was. No pressure to be anything other than your authentic self. Such a weight off my shoulders and the feeling you get from everyone you come into contact with was so genuine. I will absolutely keep going back. You can even attend from home by logging on to the website. They make accessing the word of God so easy and simple. I definitely recommend every and anyone to go at least once to see what I mean. You’ll be glad you did.

Arnell Hill: A welcoming spiritual environment. St. Mary applies the Word via actions and programs they carry out. A variety of elders, deacons, evangelist share the workload in presenting the sermon/message for that Sunday. Sunday school follows the traditional Baptist manual that most Baptist churches have decided to follow. That means some Sunday school topics may not be relevant to current events. I asked the question why dont they get off script if the events of the world dictate it. The corporate response was that a scripture may not apply at the moment but it may one day. So are we supposed to remember a lesson from months ago? In general those who teach Sunday school are effective and give clear current examples. No virtual method to connect to bible study or mens Ministry. Sunday service is streamed live via Facebook. Communion only given once since June 2024.Communion is not a regular occurrence. Not really a church that teaches the Word. I asked one person on the staff for a link to a website that offers biblical answers to spiritual questions. The response I got was that seeking answers was not like doing a research paper. Not exactly a helpful answer for someone who just hungers to understand the Word more. There are several members on the church staff who have doctorate degrees or who are pursuing doctorates. So I do wonder if they will or did not have to do any research or search spiritual websites in the process of getting their degrees? Overall this church does give back to the community. If you need instruction and guidance you may want to go elsewhere.

Sara Williamson: Baptist church located in downtown Punta Gorda. I enjoyed the choir very much. Everyone was very welcoming of our family. They have activities and always other fun things going on. Great place to Worship God.
