Dolphin World - Fort Lauderdale (FL)

1 /5 Kelly Hall: Very disappointed, we booked for both grandaughters to swim with the dolphins for their birthday present. We drove from Missouri to Destin and while we were driving we got a call canceling us. They said they are closed til further notice. They had 8 dolphins that had died this year. Talking to someone at a gas station stated theres more to the story. I have no idea what it is but my grandaughters are heartbroken. We paid over $600 for this gift. I was told will get a refund but this is not the point.

4 /5 Jimmy McPeters: This is really a 4.5 My sister recently lost her husband of 50+ years. Her bucket list included swimming with the dolphins so we took her here. It was very structured and a little bit limited in your time and your interactions with the dolphin but was done very well within the parameters. The staff and trainers were very friendly and good at their jobs. The dolphin show at the end was very entertaining for all ages and they have a great system to give you great pictures of yourself with the dolphin that works very well. My sister was very happy. The other part of the park consisted of some birds, penguins, alligators etc but is very limited and basically not really necessary.

3 /5 James Green: Staff was professional and courteous. Kids loved the experience. The water the dolphins lived in was disgusting.

5 /5 Melanie Desamito: The trainer was wonderful and made sure that each person got to have an individual experience. The staff that was helping on the side of the pool made sure to remind the trainer that one person didnt get to do one trick. She made sure to fix that mistake. We did not feel rushed to get out of the pool or for each trick. They took their time and really get a nice time with the dolphins. It was great for our family of 5 (kids ages 5,7, and 16) they all seemed to enjoy the experience. We got a lot of photos that were taken professionally that will be memories for a lifetime included in the package. Usually you pay $25 or more for one picture.

1 /5 Kaylee Brown: Ive never been more disappointed in my life! I have been waiting/wanting to do a dolphin encounter since I was a young kid. Were down here for my sons spring break and thought "oh yea, this would be a cool experience to have with him." His first words when we got done were "that was extremely boring mom!" Hes 8. You get a very, very short interaction with the dolphins! Even the dorsal fin ride was less than 15seconds!! Just overall very disappointing. The trainers were very nice and sweet and then some blonde guy Im assuming a higher instructor of some sort came out and was just yelling and screaming at everyone being very demanding and completely turned me from what little bit of fun we were experiencing! I would 100% recommend finding elsewhere to do something like this and doing further research to make sure its worth the money!!
