5 /5 Dr. Rosie Ann Riley: This house was built in 1871 by Mrs. Dorr after her husband and eldest son died in 1871. What I thought was very interesting was the photo designed with the hair of a dead loved one. This was common during this era. We were told that the kitchen and boys bedroom had been modernized because someone involved with house wanted to live in it. I forgot who and details. So we only saw sitting room, dining room and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The young woman who gave tour is also at the Museum of Agriculture. She is wearing dress from early 1800’s. This is a guided tour so go to Museum of Agriculture to find out times. We toured the church at 1pm then went to house after. I recommend visiting this house if in the area and like learning about Victorian era.

4 /5 BreAnn Chevalier: Entry to one of the select museums can get you access to 4 of them with additional tours to other historic locations. GREAT VIEWS. Tour guide was AMAZING, very informative and friendly. The Dorr house is a no touch area, but there’s no need to touch because they have everything placed so that you can see it easily!

5 /5 Cecilia Mal: Our tour guide Gale was wonderful, funny and informative. She guided us on a tour of the Dorr House, the church, Lavalle and Lear/Rocheblave Houses. Two of the houses are on the small side although grand in the Victorian style. But they are filled with nice period pieces and staged in such a way that you feel the residents were just out for a stroll. The ticket price is a deal, you get access to the homes and nearby associated Museums for 7 days, the area has lots of great dining along with the historic buildings and parks, a must visit in Pensacola.

5 /5 Jennifer Bradford: Part of the historic tour. Our guide brought the home to life with stories and period trafitions. Furnishings of the times were beautiful. The hair art was interesting as was the costume. They offer an afternoon tea tour on certain days. Worth the visit!

5 /5 Rodney Willis: One bit of advice I would offer is to visit during the cooler months as most of the dwellings are not climate controlled. Wonderful tour with informative guides and the homes speak for themselves.

Chris Hall: My family and I had the pleasure of visiting the Chappie James museum. It may be one of the best done and most educational museums I have been to. Despite its small size, the knowledge imparted by the guide was amazing and the hospitality displayed by the entire staff was second to none. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you live in or are visiting Pensacola.

Shenell Mack: Lovely boardwalk that gives you the opportunity to see a variety of ocean life. We didn’t see dolphins, but schools of fish, a barracuda, and a couple of sea turtles swam by this visit. It’s a nice thing to do to enjoy beautiful weather and sightseeing.

Pensacola Bay City Ferry - Pensacola

Renae Tindale: We were waiting for some family members to join us in Pensacola, so we took the ferry ride to kill some time. It was very nice and relaxing. We were able to see dolphins. At the beach stop, we saw several places that we wanted to visit. We will do the ride again and get off next time.

Falon Smith: Absolutely Beautiful except all the technological stuff surrounding historical monuments Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. From electronic rental bikes to car meters that take debit cards and some take change but if you dont have change then youre kind of screwed. Not everyone keeps there card on them all the time. But the meter reader lady is very nice and her hospitality deserves five stars.

Hawkshaw Lagoon Memorial Park - Pensacola

H Cap: It’s a small and quiet place to watch the sunset. We stopped by quickly to take pictures. We used it as our starting point on our walk to Palafox Pier and back. Walking path on this side of the memorial goes all the way to the pier. The other side of the road doesn’t have it, just fyi.

Dinura Fernando: It’s a fun place to visit and the ride options are great. However, said rides are not well maintained and do require some work. More specifically the Go-Karts which are fun, but some are slow and some are fast making it hard to compete with each other. All that being said you can have fun at the place and it has its own charm to it.
