5 /5 Maggie Murphy: John replaced our heater core and evaporator. When we first moved here, we went to another shop to have a new radiator assembly put in, the same day we picked it up we noticed a smell of antifreeze. It wasn’t for a few weeks later we noticed the antifreeze was leaking inside of the passenger cabin area. We called the other place back and questions what was going on because they had just fixed our car and then they quoted us for a heater core at $1100. Came to Doug Ivy‘s to get a second opinion, and I didn’t even have to drop the car off for one of the mechanics to inform us that it would be a smart idea to go ahead and replace the evaporator as well. To replace a heater for the entire dash has to come out so the cost of this repair is mostly labor. So thankful for John at Doug Ivey’s automotive. These people are not gonna salt your potatoes or butter your biscuit beating around the bush with Customer Service . They’re just going to fix your car. :) so thankful you for showing us there is a shop to trust in town.
