4 /5 Karen Chavez: Went on a Thursday night around 8:30pm. Not much action or people but definitely a cute place to hang out. Lots of restaurants and shops, nice little boardwalk (mostly without guard/hand rails). Lots of parking. Probably very busy on the weekends.

Bradley Rahm: Any time we are on the island, there is always a plan to make it a stop! For 20 years, we have been coming and have loved watching the center get bigger and better year after year. With a great friendly and knowledgeable staff you dont have to worry about asking questions of any kind. Dont skip out on the mangrove walk. The trails are raised and clear. The wildlife is absolutely amazing. Just watch out for the stray spiderweb if you go first thing in the morning.

Kiplinger Nature Preserve - Stuart

Joe Rubino: A fairly new park. It is about a 1 mile short walk that includes a stop along the St. Lucie River, where there is a dock for viewing. There are a couple of wooden walkways along the trek. Great for kids or just a quick stroll to get outdoors.

ScottsJourneys: If your looking for a spooky, fun-filled evening with a side of local lure, the Stuart Ghost Tours is the place to be. Our guide was absolutly fantastic-super nice, hilariously witty, and a walking encyclopedia of Stuarts haunted history. Every tale had us captivated (and occasionally looking over our shoulders). But the real show-stealer? Bob. Oh yes we met Bob along the way-a very interesting character who decided to stick around for the rest of the tour. Now, were not saying hes a ghost, but lets just say he had a knack for popping up at just the right (or wrong?) moments. Bob added an extra layer of "boo-tiful" hilarity to the night-hes basically part of the crew now.

Stephen White: After a trip to see the Banyan tree tunnels in the area, we decided to stop to see if we could see any manatees. We did not but we enjoyed the park and the local wildlife. Theres plenty here for everyone from river access, fishing, photography, walking, and areas for kids to play. Theres also plenty of parking for cars and trucks with boat trailers.
