1 /5 Julie Richardson: The endoscopy and colonoscopy went well.
Other than that, I am very angry.
I had to go to the office, which was difficult to find, ended up in the hospital section.
After finding the office, I waited one hour to see Dr. Schumann. I have kids to pick up and the wasted trip and time was something I could have been told on the phone. I had even called him for any results. It was a ploy for more money to have me come into the office so he could pad his pockets a bit more before being put out to pasture.
When he finally got around to see me, he had another patient’s chart and started talking about my CAT scan. I did NOT have a CAT scan. He shuffled through some papers and found my results. He then left the room to take care of something else that had nothing to do with me.
When he returned, he told me that all my tests were normal, but I did have a bit of diverticulosis, normal for my age.
He asked me if I knew what diverticulosis is.
I said yes, I have just been helping my friend who has it. I told him what it was, he told me I was wrong and proceeded to tell me exactly what I had just said.
I think this old doctor needs to retire.
He appears weak and confused.
