The zoo is beautifully shaded, which made it super comfortable, even on a hot day. Dakota was fantastic! So knowledgeable and engaging with the kids. The interactive experiences were a big hit. They were able to feed some animals, pet others and learn so much in the process. It’s clear the staff really cares about the animals and making the visit enjoyable for families. Highly recommended for a fun, educational day out with the kids! This was our second visit and won’t be the last! Can’t wait to return!

We fed the animals and got to see a good variety. Really really enjoyed it. Next time we are in the area this is a must on our list. Thank you for sharing it with us!

5 /5 B Lauren: To the people who complain about this place, people need to realize, this zoo was purchased from someone else. Were some of the enclosures small for the bigger animals, yes, but as someone who also has a heart for animals and tries to help them, it can become very expensive very quick. After seeing the owner’s go fund me, I honestly think the family is doing the best they can for these animals with the resources they have. I hope there can be improvements in the future, but that will be with the help of the community. Now that’s out of the way, my husband and I honestly had such a great time today at this zoo. It’s a much more up close and personal feel, than your average zoo and it was cool seeing so many amazing creatures! The staff was polite and helpful and we spent around three hours there and didn’t even get a chance to see everything. We will definitely have to be back in the future when we come to visit! Also, the price wasn’t bad at all. About $15 each to enter and then another $15 for three bags of feed and five tokens to feed the birds, giraffe, and fish. That was a steal!

5 /5 Danielle Jones: Zoos are a no school activity favorite. And this little zoo is, in my daughters (9) words "this place is it!" Its what the Alabama Gulf Coast zoo used to be and the history behind the place is the coolest. I highly recommend it. But keep in mind it is a small family run zoo so dont go with the expectation of experiencing what you would anywhere else. And pack a picnic!

Erika Iversen: A small distillery with smooth tastings. Visit this family owned distillery for a tasting with a personal touch. Outside of moonshine there is rum, whiskey and soon there will be bourbon. Make sure to check if they are open before traveling. They have recently reopened after having been closed for a while due to Covid. Add a quick stop here when visiting the area.

Timmy McCann: Incredible structure!! It does a wonderful job of keeping its visitors elevated and dry in inclement weather. Wonderful way to be able to view the entirety of Lake Okeechobee!! It can be Very busy, but its worth the wait for the view.

Universal Studios Florida - Orlando

Sharanya Sarkar: We had a great time at Universal! I have pretty severe motion sickness, so I couldn’t go on many rides—but I really appreciated that one of the stores in the “Universe” actually gave me free Dramamine, which was so thoughtful and helpful. Even though rides like Minions made me a bit queasy, I still enjoyed the overall experience. The themed neighborhoods were beautifully decorated, with lots of fun photo ops. The live shows were definitely a highlight—especially the Hollywood Horror effects and the Borne Stuntacular, which was absolutely fantastic (my favorite part of the day!). I also loved the construction worker percussion group—such a fun surprise. It’s a great place for families with kids. For me personally, it was probably a one-time visit due to my motion sensitivity—but that’s certainly no fault of the park. Slower rides like E.T. were gentle and enjoyable, though not very thrilling. There were plenty of food options and the restrooms were clean and easy to find. We visited on a weekday in May and were able to do everything without feeling rushed. All in all, a well-organized and vibrant park.

Upon walking in, you will be greater with smily faces and friendly staff. You are free to wander around the exhibit at your leisure to experiment with every stop. The staff are there to help you and guide you and even take pictures of you. It is fun for all ages. Be ready to have fun and to be amazed

SeaWorld Orlando - Orlando

meir bamberger: SeaWorld Orlando is such an incredible experience for families, couples, or anyone looking to enjoy a day filled with excitement and wonder. The highlight of the visit has to be the shows — they are truly spectacular! From the breathtaking orca and dolphin performances to the sea lion comedy acts, each show is well-produced, entertaining, and heartwarming. You can really see the connection between the trainers and the animals, and its amazing to watch. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with a great mix of thrilling rides, peaceful exhibits, and interactive experiences. There’s something magical about walking through the park and seeing majestic marine animals up close, then hopping on a coaster for an adrenaline rush. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day, and the entire place had a positive, family-friendly vibe. If youre in Orlando, SeaWorld is absolutely worth a visit — it’s a perfect mix of education, entertainment, and fun!

Caryl Dussault: Had a wonderful time today here. Loved the exhibits and interactive puzzles and displays. The nature feature was wonderful and loved to see the birds and animals they had. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The parking garage was very convenient with a bridge connected to the Museum. Everything was also wheelchair accessible, with a little wait at elevators. They have 2 elevators available for every level. Only down side was the cinadom, we watched “force of nature” and the screen was too dark and blurry and the sound was not great. During show I was constantly distracted by the lines of the screen. The show was very informative just wished I could have enjoyed watching it better.
