1 /5 Jayne M: A church is only as nice as it’s meanest member; while the pastor and his wife are kind, down to earth people, the folks running the food bank are not. I have never felt so unwelcomed, and I haven’t been yelled at in a church since I was 17. Just because the women at the front give numbers does not put them in charge, and quite frankly they should be moved to positions where they don’t interact with the needy population. I am human too. Just because I need a food bank does not make me less than. That’s literally the opposite of what Jesus taught.
