5 /5 Yardley OFlaherty: Let me start by saying the communication with staff before I booked was amazing via text message. All my questions were answered in a timely manner and very welcoming. Any expectations I had of this experience before coming in went above and beyond. Dan filled us with lots of really cool history along paranormal stories and his experiences, while Eric being there to assist and gave us the tools needed for our experience. Both were super nice and really just easy to talk with and never made me feel silly about my experience in any way. While I didn’t get to tell them everything, they were both ready willing to help and talk in any way. I was very surprised by the outcome. Robert, while his presence and story is no doubt an experience in itself, he is what you make him to be. I’ll leave it at that. The Fort alone is another animal entirely. Worth the trip and money. It is something I will never forget. Thanks for an amazing evening!

4 /5 HA R: I attended 2 separate events here. One was a ghost hunting at night including effing with Robert the doll (i found out). TOTALLY WORTH IT. And the next day in the light of day. At night, this is one of the creepiest places Ive ever been to and I love creepy places and Halloween seasoning. During the day its bright airy and interesting. Regardless how you go, I recommend you do. Just note its at the other side of the island so youll have to drive 15mins from Duval street. If you have to choose, Id choose this at night over fort Zachary Taylor during the day.

5 /5 Kirk Pope: I didn’t take any pictures because it’s not polite to do so to Robert the Doll. But he certainly has an intriguing story. Fun to support the stories of old Key West by attending the museum. It’s like $17 to get in and the tour and reading everything, including going through the fort and up to the top, takes no more than hour or so. Cute gift shop as well!

4 /5 Leah G.: Took an Uber here on our cruise stop. We came specially to see Robert the Doll. I wasn’t sure what to expect but received no warnings about the doll and its history. Nowhere did I see we weren’t supposed to take pictures of him. Thankfully I didn’t. We did visit the doll and the room he is encased in. We viewed exhibits and history plaques from the fort itself. The grounds that the museum is on are beautifully kept and maintained. There is a gift shop at the fort as well that sells Robert the Doll merchandise and some other stuff. There is a beautiful view from the top of the fort as well as some fun and quirky sculptures to look at throughout the museum.

It’s amazing to see how the center collaborates with key agencies and programs to drive these efforts. Walking through the exhibits was an engaging and educational experience, with plenty of cool displays to explore. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just curious about the underwater world, this center offers a wonderful opportunity to learn and be inspired. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Truman Little White House - Naval Air Station Key West DJ AJ Falcon: Very interesting landmark that was the occasional residence of one of the most underrated presidents of the 20th century. You realize how important he was after taking the informative guided tour. I was in Key West to be destination wedding DJ&MC, and glad I stopped in after a recommendation from one of the guides at another nearby attraction. Take the guided tour that I believe leaves at the top and bottom of the hour. The gift shop is also very nice with a variety of merchandise at different price points. There could be better information provided on parking arrangements. The closest garage is the Opal Resort right next door, which is a little pricey, and they charge you for a full additional hour even if you go over by one minute. We parked at nearby Truman Waterfront Park, which is a bit of a walk, but also a scenic, hidden gem worth visiting. I enjoyed my visit here and you will too!

Mel Fisher Maritime Museum - Key West Lindsey A. Thomson Heberlein: Worth the visit! Very interesting. I was expecting a bit more focus on the ships and where each piece came from. A lot of items not related to his finds. African slave trade museum is upstairs. Mostly silver from the ships, coins, some cool jewelry. You can’t buy authentic coins there, just reproductions. Would have been nice to focus more on the ships than a general American history.

Yankee Freedom- Dry Tortugas National Park Museum - Key West Anders Wahlqvist: Calm small museum, not too much to see but a nice quick stop when visiting Key West. The girl attending the small exhibit was nice, polite and pretty. She also made a nice drawing that has nothing to do with the exhibit.

Smathers Beach - Key West Shawna L.: Easy beach access. Lots of parking. Restrooms were closed at the end of the day -early evening hours. Had a few different shower areas at each beach entrance/exit. Did see a lifeguard that was closing up his station - this was around 5pm. There are lots of picnic tables and seating by the parking area. A section of the water that was close to the shore had a dip in the sea level...so be mindful, especially with kids. Can play beach volleyball. Huge long stretch of sand to stretch out between people. Great for kids, families- and everyone.

Key West Ghost And Mysteries Tour - Key West Carrie Albright: We wanted a tour that immersed us in the mysterious unknowns and history of Key West and this tour did exactly that! Ted was an engaging guide who was clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His storytelling got us wrapped up in each spooky tale, taught us a little about how to spot paranormal presence in photos, and threw in some sillier tales and a few jokes, too. A great tour with a passionate expert—highly recommend!

Keepers Quarters Museum - Key West Alberto Nicanor Rosario Mendez: Its nice to see how was life in those times. Its kinda spooky imagining yourself in that corner of the world being the sole responsible of keeping the lighthouse alive Not really exciting honestly. Only for the fans

Clarence S.Higgs Memorial Beach - Key West Jessica Velez: This beach was okay. There are alot of rocks right along the shore where you walk in (you cant avoid it), we almost fell every time getting in and out perhaps because the waves were kind of strong that day and there was also a steep dip in the water along the rocks/shore. The water was nice and it was very clean. The stairway to get to that pier was super slippery due to the algae so be careful. One really cool thing was that although the beach is small.there was an umbrella and chair service there for cheap, you could rent all day until 5pm. There were some beautiful palm and coconut trees and there was a restaurant with clean bathrooms right next to it. It was also very lively but not too loud, people playing volleyball and some people playing an instrument on the sand, it was pleasant. It was nice for my hubby and I to relax and drink but I would not bring my kids here and if we had a car I might go to another beach because of the rocky shoreline.

The Box Key West - Key West Alicia Rogers: Lives up to the hype. It’s the boxiest box I have ever taken a photo of. Skip the lines at the southernmost point and just take a family photo with the box. Can’t wait to get this one framed!
