2 /5 CJ Mata: I am not happy with my experience at Great Expressions. Ill start with the good, the front office staff is great (which is why its two stars instead of one). Very friendly and attentive. Setting up my appointments was very easy. My problems are with the actual care. I simply came in for an exam and cleaning but have now had two appointments and still no cleaning. I have gotten behind in my dental care between COVID and insurance issues at work, but I now have a good insurance plan that fully covers exams, x-rays, and cleanings. I simply wanted a cleaning since Im well overdue. However I am being told I need to pay for a $500 deep cleaning, that a basic cleaning that my insurance actually covers is not available. So Ive wasted two visits and walked out with nothing but a "care plan estimate" for hundreds of dollars of work. Thankfully I discovered that my old dentist actually does take my insurance (it would have been nice if my insurance provider told me that before I went through this fiasco with Great Expressions).
