5 /5 Lior Brosh: It is really lovely place to visit with family and kids and it is free of charge. We chose to pay a donation to support this import cause of saving the sea turtles and to keep this amazing place running. You are welcomed by a very kind people in the reception and there is zero pressure to donate. They explain about the place and how to walk around. There are dotted guides along the route and you can tell they love their job and very keen to explain and teach. Except the aquariums there are also nature trails and viewing tower which was breathtaking. I highly recommend to visit this place with family and friends or by yourself for afternoon education.

5 /5 Vicki Ringle: I absolutely adore this little hidden gem! It’s such a fun and educational sea turtle rescue center. We thought we’d only spend an hour there, but two hours flew by, and I was practically begging the kids to leave! It’s a wonderful spot to learn all about sea turtles and the amazing local marine environment. We can’t wait to come back next time we visit Florida!

5 /5 Jonathan Gomez: What an amazing place! They could easily charge an entrance fee, but it’s completely free. I highly recommend visiting and supporting them with a donation. The place is in excellent condition. You can see various turtles, fish in 3 or 4 different tanks, rays, and more ocean species—it feels like a small aquarium. In a separate area, there are baby turtles, seahorses, and starfish. My two daughters absolutely loved it! The trail is beautiful, and the observation tower offers a great view over the trees. It’s definitely a must-visit, and we will be coming back!

4 /5 Fernando DosSantos: Great life sanctuary and nature center where you can spend a good couple of hours. It has a small aquarium, sea turtle recovery facilities, butterfly garden, boardwalks and trails. Great for kids! And the best, it’s absolutely free! The parking space is limited but make sure you check both north and south lots. From the observation tower you’ll have a nice view of the surrounding areas including the intracoastal waterway.

5 /5 Anusha: Phenomenal experience for children and adults alike. We especially loved seeing the sea turtles and sting rays! Highly valuable free activity (thanks to donations) and highly recommend to anyone in the area!

H G: Tacos and Wing Batttle. There was plenty of space to walk around and the area was upmept. Stage was great for performances, and plenty of parking around. Great for hosting events.

Fatemeh Sugrue: The updated playground is absolutely incredible! Thank you to everyone who put this together. It’s every parents dream. There’s plenty of shade everywhere, plenty of seating, completely fenced in, great splash pad WITH shade, bathrooms are individual stalls, etc etc. The multilevel basketball area is super cute and unique. The ONLY complaint (if this even is one…) is I wish there was some taller slides/structures. But still, my 4.5 and almost 7 year old love it.

Christine: I’m honestly not sure because I couldn’t bring myself to pay $50 for parking. I ended up driving a little bit further and paying for parking across the street as I was only going for two hours and six dollars for two hours felt much more reasonable.

The museum accepts donations, but never pressures visitors. We appreciate the generosity. What sets this museum apart? - Interactive exhibits for kids of all ages - Beautiful outdoor garden where kids can water plants, explore nature, and spot insects - Outdoor dining area with tables and chairs - Playground conveniently located right across from the museum! We cant recommend this hidden gem enough! Whether youre a local or just visiting, this museum is a must-visit destination for families.

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens - Delray Beach

Jeffrey Yu: Beautiful garden with lake, streams and different period garden styles as well as a bonsai collection. There is a nice cafe on premise and gallery with small exhibitions. Day tickets were $16 at the door for adults when I visited.

James A. Rutherford Park - Boca Raton

k benat: I had a very pleasant visit, walking the well-maintained, eco-friendly trail of about 1 mile or more, along Lake Wyman. Free admittance and free parking. Open 8a to sunset. Benches, restrooms and water fountains along the way. Parts of the trail are paved with shredded recycled tires and walking on it was a nice experience.

Daggerwing Nature Center - Boca Raton

Simple Pleasures: We were just here on a Field Trip with Sandpiper Shores Elm. The presentation in the class style room was very informative. The room was filled with rescued animals, and the Nature Teacher was Very Informative and kept the children engaged. We were allowed to touch a little Owl and a Snake and a Tortoise and even a Baby Alligator! The kids were thrilled. They learned a lot too. Then we did the Tree Covered Nature Trail and that was amazing. It was the perfect day weather wise and the trail was flourishing with trees birds and other wildlife. The kids really enjoyed that as well! The Nature Teacher accompanied the class and explained about certain trees plants and animals that live in and around the area. The kids even saw a turtle in the water! Then we were brought into the other side where there is a Huge Nature Center. It’s amazing in there, and has a lot of educational things for the kids as well as animals! I was so impressed the 1st time I went here years ago for Halloween. Seeing it again impressed me even more. This is a great place to educate kids on nature and conservation of our precious wildlife. If your a school and are considering taking your classes here, stop thinking and do it, you will be thrilled you did and so will your classes!

He provided me with so many great historical facts about Boca! The place is clean, well organized and properly displays historical artifacts. Great visuals! Considering buying the membership! Highly recommend for those who enjoy learning about our past and those who have come before us.
