1 /5 J: I had a pretty poor first experience there. I will admit I was exactly 10 minutes behind for my appointment and I called before to let them know, but what followed was very bad. The cleaning was very rushed, mostly with a kind hygienist who admitted he was new. Much dental calculus was missed. I learned the x-rays missed a couple of teeth. The dentist looked at my mouth for literally 45 seconds (yes, really!) and said everything was fine and left. Finally, my concerns about teeth sensitivity, a tooth chip, and a missing filling were not addressed at all!! I asked the hygienist "are you sure everything is ok?" there was no communication between him and the doctor but he said "well he didnt say anything so everything should be fine."
My experience felt so horrible I immediately requested my x-rays to be sent to a different dentist office. Now I know I have early periodontal disease, a confirmed missing filling, two chipped teeth, gum recession, serious bone recession/pockets near my wisdoms, and I was coached about better practices for my situation. I waited until my new dentist to leave this review, because my experience was so poor and I wanted to include what they missed.
Also, instead of rushing a cleaning/xray/and exam within an hour like at Haile, the new place focused an entire hour on an exam that included measuring gums and consultation. Wow. Im scheduled for another hour for a proper cleaning. My new dentist and hygienist told me how I should have received a proper diagnosis and that the cleaning was quite poor.
