04-2025 Haute Headz Jax in The Best 18 Hair Salons in Jacksonville, FL (part 2) Salon Red by (The Blowout Queen) - Jacksonville Elexus Harriel: BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SEWINS, NOT LUXURY. I came in on 1/12 at 1:30 pm. I had an appointment with the owner for closure sewins. When I came in, there was an older lady who did my wash and conditioning. She did not wash the back of my head, only the front and sides, which left my head extremely itchy throughout the day. When it was time for the sewin, the braid down was terrible, she used dirty braiding hair, which made my hair itchy. After she was down braiding my hair, she went to another client to do their silk press, which held me up when she finally came back to do my sewin it was around 3:30pm. She did not pluck or bleach my closure. When she started the sewin, it was rushed. I came in with a 2x6 closure and 5 bundles of Brazilian straight hair. When she came to the 3rd bundle, she sew in half the bundle and STOLE the other half. There was another stylist who assisted her with that. When she came to the 4th bundle, she was done she did not put in my 5th bundle. She didnt properly flat iron my hair and talked down about my hair but stole it. I dont know if she thought I didnt know anything about hair, but she is sadly MISTAKEN. PLEASE PUT TRUST IN THIS REVIEW. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A SEWINS!!!!!! Maybe for her signature silk press that shes so good at but nothing else. I will never come back to this lady again for a bad job on my hair, and the fact that she stole from me, she is not meant to be trusted. I gave her a little tip so she can buy her some better hair Instead stealing somebody elses. Mind you I paid $200 Plus $20 For the deposit

Salon b2y - Jacksonville Miguela McBrien: I recently moved to JAX and have been trying to find a hairstylist that is experienced in working with coarse and thick, asian hair. When I tell you this is the best hairstyling experience I’ve gone through, I mean it! Reynaldo added depth and life back into my hair and made this visit so comfortable. I had asked for a haircut and partial highlights and he charged me such a great price in comparison to other salons. Not only that, the partial highlights looked like full highlights and are such a unique color (copper with a hint of chocolate). Definitely, giving fall vibes. My husband loved it so much that I will definitely be coming back.

I was nervous but She was so easy to love/talk with and her talent is amazin!!. The shop is retro, fun and feels like home. Take a leap, check the shop out and you won’t be sorry! MonCiel Hair Lounge - Jacksonville kylie james: BEST HAIR SALON EVER!!!! This place is a literal dream come true, talk about girl world! Every hairdresser is the sweetest and does the most amazing work. My girl is Ema and let’s just say i’ve never walked out of there not feeling my most confident best self. She truly works magic! All of the girls are constantly checking on you and making sure you’re good and not thirsty or hungry. I 1000% recommend this place! I’ve never felt so relaxed and happy at a hair salon before.
Bad Apple Beauty - Jacksonville Victoria Baez: Jayme is amazing! I was very nervous to get my first curly cut, but I couldn’t have chosen a better stylist to book with. Jayme was extremely helpful in explaining what my hair needs, what I should change in my routine, and explained each step in the styling process. My hair was long, well over due for a hair cut, and very frizzy. Jayme helped me understand exactly what my curly hair needed to have the hydrated, defined and bouncy curls I wanted. Besides the amazing customer service and attention to detail, his services are well priced and worth every penny. I would 1000% recommend Jayme for other curly heads, especially if you need some guidance.
Chocolate Blonde Salon - Jacksonville Leslie Bryant: A wonderful place with a nice location (theres parking in back) Diane is the absolute best & just a blast to talk to while cutting & styling! She listened & knew exactly what I wanted and what would look the best! This is my new spot for sure!
