4 /5 Sheri Beltz: It was a beautiful pier. But I didnt like that they put spikes in the rafters to keep the birds out. Although the birds were pretty smart and found a way around it.

5 /5 Andrew Scrugham: Beautiful huge pier in Key West, perfect for sunrises and sunsets. A few benches for seating and free binocular stands for viewing the surrounding area. There are also multiple stairs for water access on the pier. There were a few people there but it was not crowded when we went. Great place to hang out and enjoy the area.

5 /5 Eva Cagwin: Visited on a cloudy, windy day and we had the pier to ourselves We were delighted to see 4 sea turtles surfacing repeatedly near the pier. They were close enough that we could easily see their spots and fins.

USCGC Ingham Maritime Museum - Key West

Abby D: If you’re in Key West out this stop on your destinations list ! Even if you’re not super into military museums ( as I am not ) going through this ship is like a time capsule and will blow you away! This is a self guided tour and at the time there was only one other couple aboard the ship ahead of us- so we literally had the place to ourselves. We happened upon this floating museum because we were riding our bikes around Key West and this was truly one of the highlights of our time there. It was $15 regular price and veterans get a discount on ticket price - $10 . This is a private museum and is partially funded by donations so consider a few bucks extra if you can , to help support this piece of living history. Take your time and walk through. You can go from top to bottom of the ship. There’s a lot that you can touch, but some rooms are behind plexiglass to preserve the displays . This ship is as it was when it was last used in the late 80’s. Things were left there and it’s been used as a museum ever since. I just can’t say enough about how extremely cool going aboard the Ingham was. I really had such a big impact on our Key West adventure.

S Klimek: Off the beaten path. Interesting history of the island. Bring water if you are going to be walking, it gets hot, and you wont want to leave once you get moving. Graves go back to the early 1800s. I would recommend taking a tour of available but I have not been able to find one.

Kasey Miller: Very interesting piece of history. Free admission. The staff are all volunteers and super into the history and the visitors, they were so much fun! Find Bum Farto and get a free shot! Or get inducted to The Conch by drinking a shot of rum out of the conch shell with them!

The Mangrove -

Jacob Curtiss: Great place to spend a few hours kayaking or paddle boarding alone or with friends and family. Youll feel like youre in the middle of the jungle despite being right next to a housing development and international airport. If you are on a tight schedule or you dont want to get lost, I would bring a map or go with a guide.

Dennis s: We bought a package with four attractions and this was one. Its a small museum but has a lot of information about Key West and Henry Flagler. This is a smaller version of the displays and information we got on a tour of Pigeon Key, but worth it if you dont have time to travel to the 7 mile bridge area to take that tuor.
