What matters most is that their hairstylists are definitely experienced and talented. Connies is a great place to go. I went there to get my hair colored, cut, washed and styled. I was so proud to show off the end results. This shop is a unisex beauty salon. The prices are very reasonable compared to competitors. Its located in Sebring, Florida.

Shear Vintage Hair House - Sebring Danielle Finneran: To start off, I chose to come here because of all the wonderful reviews I saw on here. Well, they didnt prove true to me. The boss and young lady cutting my hair did not know how to cut layers into long hair. Half way through the cut, the stylst admitted she wasnt comfortable procceding and went to get her boss for help. Her boss quickly slid the scissors down the back of my hair and called it a day. Ive been having long layers cut into my hair for 10 years, never had it done like that- and for good reason. My hair came out VERY uneven and choppy, the layers did not even come close to flowing/blending. I was embarrassed to even have my hair down. 2 days later I went over to Vanity salon and a lovey girl there spent AN HOUR fixing my hair. She took her time and knew exactly what she was doing. Unfortunately i lost quite a bit of hair trying to even out the mess from shear vintage salon. But now, i can confidently wear my hair down again without feeling botched. I could even say, Vanity salon gave me the BEST flowing/effortless layers ive had in years. In conclusion, if you have long hair and want layers, look somewhere else to have it done.

Sweet Southern Rain Salon and Spa LLC - Sebring Tara Burlingame: Id like to start off by extending a big "thank you" to Sweet Southern Rain Salon and Spa. You have taught me a huge lesson! I had high hopes for this place since it had high reviews. Little did I realize that four of the 5 star reviews are quite possibly by the people who work there. Dont be fooled! I booked with a stylist here over the holidays. My regular stylists is located in Tampa and was booked out. I was excited that they could fit me in (which shouldve given me an idea what I was getting myself into). My first impression was good. I really liked the atmosphere of the place. It was warm and welcoming. I just needed a simple toning of my ends and root blending, figured it would be pretty simple. I was way wrong. The stylists made my hair darker! The complete opposite of what I had asked for. When I mentioned that it wasnt what I wanted, her answer was to wash it a few times and it will lighten up. If I still wasnt happy after these few washes, I was to text her and shed tone it out for me. I text her a week and a half later and she never even responded. I know what you are probably thinking and would like to debunk some possible stereotypes. Yes, I tipped her well over 20% even though I didnt like my hair. Also, Im no hairzilla. I have been changing the color of my hair for years so I know what to expect. My hair was already very light (almost icy) but also very yellow because of the cheap shampoo I was using while traveling (once again, my mistake for forgetting my violet shampoo and mask). My Tampa stylist was able to fix my hair and we inevitably laughed this one off, but I will never make this mistake again. The moral of the story is to do your research and if you have a good stylist, dont negate from him/her... even if it means having brassy holiday hair.

HAIR IN MOTION - Sebring Fontaine Lewis: I was very pleased with her service. She is a gem among hairdressers in Sebring, FL. She was very polite, patient and caring. She did an excellent job with shampooing, conditioning and detangling my 4c hair. My hair felt revived, moist and soft post washing. Afterwards she then dried and trimmed my hair then did my extensions. My extensions were laid flat and turned out wonderful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is interested recieving great haircare.

The Ellison Salon & Spa, Inc. - Sebring Jessie Milia: Allen Ellison is pretty much the coolest person that I know. Not only is he great with all hair types, hes affordable, goes above & beyond, and the conversation is always awesome. I usually swing by the soda shop next door on my way in or out too.
