5 /5 Lexi Woon: A Step Back Time! This House is a delight and its right in the midst of busy and modern Las Olas facing the beautiful New River. The house itself is a stunning example of simple yet beautiful design. Our guide, Missi, was very nice and very knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the Stranahan familys history. The self-guided audio tour was true ingenuity - it allowed us to explore the house at our own pace while still gaining a deeper understanding of its significance. What truly impressed us was how the museum transported us back in time. The carefully preserved interior and artifacts created an immersive experience. This was definitely a unique and enriching experience in Ft. Lauderdale, the Stranahan House Museum is an absolute must-visit.

I especially enjoyed listening to the audio history about the home and the area, it added a personal touch. One sweet surprise was finding comfy chairs on the balcony, and even better, youre encouraged to relax and take it all in. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home while soaking up some Florida charm and history.

5 /5 Ng Rae S.: We bought tickets in advance but we got there a bit late (half an hour before closing). Thankfully they were very accommodating and let us in! We got some handheld audio devices to listen to a prerecorded tour while walking through the house. Everything is very well kept and lovingly preserved/restored. At the end of our tour we met John the caretaker, who personally knew Ivy Stranahan! We were very happy to have him share some of his knowledge and anecdotes with us.

I was so happy to find chairs out on the balcony and they actually encourage you to sit, relax, and take it all in!

Colee Hammock Park - Fort Lauderdale Golden Owl: Shaded, manicured, historical, quaint, water front park. Not crowded yet well used. Often a patrol car in the area too. We had a Very enjoyable stop while bike riding to/from the beach.

Loggerhead Park - Fort Lauderdale David Hidalgo: This is a great location for a day at the beach, you can chill and sun-bade or do water sports, plenty of beach space, kind lifeguards, small parking, has showers, no bathrooms at the park or near by, and be careful if you pass for a few minute on the parking meter you will get a ticket.

Beach Pavilion at Lauderdale-By-The-Sea - Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Hollywood: Absolutely beautiful!!! Never knew this was here!!!! The beach is one of the best I think! I had so much fun and Im going back to!! Water and sand was so clean!! Its like paradise if you ask me!! Highly recommend visiting!!!

Earl Lifshey Ocean Park - Fort Lauderdale Remi: If you want to go to the water then fine its a beach.. it has sand and water and a lot of seaweed. There is overcrowding and homeless around the entrance, thats fine. Needle caps in the sand? Not exactly fine. There was a free water foot wash station onnthe way out that was nice

El Prado Park - Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Jamie Wojciechowski: Small, very clean, little park with access to the beach. The park offers many chairs or benches to sit and relax and enjoy the sun and the views. The plantings are quite beautiful and well maintained, providing shade in a few areas along with two gazebos. Very nice park with beach access.
