I have sent her prayer request many times. They also do wonderful work in the community.

The music is new and beautiful and we are loving Horizon Kidz program. We love how as a church they give back to the community and how everyone is welcome. 5 /5 Florrie Willis: Horizon is a Church of young professionals and families working to make a difference in the community. Our kids love the children’s program. It’s more than just church on Sunday. Horizon is active in the community through service and also has fun get togethers at local breweries, coffee shops, and more. The music is great. Eric and Chris Allen are a husband wife pastor team in their early/mid thirties with a very relatable message and are working hard to grow Hotizon and ignite change in the community.

They do a great job at keeping the children safe & secure. Their drop off & pick up policy is on point from a safety perspective. I love the worship. Its a great experience. From the Alpha class that is geared towards new believers or non-believers with questions about faith to church membership and the CORE team for devoted Christian members who want to volunteer their time serving the community and the church family. I have found so much love and peach at the Church at Channelside! It is also right in the heart of the channelside area/Downtown Tampa, making it very easily accessible and walkable.

No weird stuff or sugar-coating here. Vanessa Crain: Small, but unified. They are very caring, and helpful. They have ALOT of things for the kids to do. The kids all have alot of fun. None of them want to miss a Wednesday! On most Wednesdays there is even a church bus for the kids who do not have a way there. Its the type of place where everyone knows each other. I recommend to anyone regardless of lifestyle or level of class. They have open arms for anyone! Mr. Terry and his wife as well as Ms. Pat are irreplaceable!

We visited other churches but none of them felt as warm and friendly as oakwood. There are lots of programs including small groups and programs for kids. They have a soccer Clinic twice a year for children, an easter event and Holiday events. They teach ESL to students for free, and offer many other opportunities including Bible studies womens meetings mens meetings and more. They also have a robust youth group and childrens ministry.
