3 /5 Rachel Anderson: Had no idea of what to expect upon entering. Tons of children were here on Saturday. It was loud, a bit crowded, and very hot. Like the air conditioning did not work. The kids did not seem to mind, but I as a parent was miserable. I did enjoy watching the kids in full imagination mode. My daughters favorite room to play in was the veterinarian office. They had a McDonalds playplace crammed in there which was cool to see. The toys were very vintage which was charming and nostalgic. My daughter had a good time overall, but I would not return unless they fixed the AC issue. It was unbearable. $7.00 per person including adults, we stayed 2 hours.

4 /5 Amanda Geil: Toddler was fully engaged for three straight hours, only explored about half of the museum, and still didnt want to go. All the other families were very nice. It didnt feel too crowded or too loud. Staff were nice and working hard to keep the facility clean. The paintings on the walls are amazing. The exhibits are pretty realistic. Price is great.

5 /5 Benny Xie: We spent a week in Jacksonville. My kids enjoyed exploring the different themed areas, like the firefighter station and grocery store, which kept them entertained for hours. The facilities are basic but clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s not a big-budget place, but for what you pay, it’s definitely worth the visit. If you’re looking for an affordable way to spend the day with your kids, this is a solid choice. Five stars for the value.

4 /5 Tiffany Davis: Went here to give our 3 year old something to do while being evacuated from hurricane Helene. My toddler loved it. There were so many things to do and you could get involved with your children’s play which most indoor play companies don’t allow you to do. There is a regular bathroom and a bathroom with a changing table which is amazing since we also brought our 4 month old baby. There is a room that I’m assuming is meant for younger kids (6months-1year) since everything is very low and easy to reach- love that. I wish there was an area for adults to sit. There were chairs scattered around but as a bigger girl, they just don’t work. There was no area for rest to eat or drink so kids are resorted to eating and drinking in play areas which leaves a gross mess. The place is a little run down but that’s never been an issue for me especially considering for 4 people (baby included) it was under $19. The issue is how dirty it was. If you can’t keep up with the cleaning as children are playing, maybe putting a child cap limit would be a good idea. After 2 hours of playing, my son’s feet were black. There was also a mop bucket in the middle of the floor meant for catching leaking water, a water faucet being held up by a piece of plywood, and multiple areas where the floor was unleveled only being warned by a sign to watch your step. A big issue I had was how one of the workers spoke to children running around. I tried to keep my child in check and follow the rules but others are not as attentive to their kids as we are I guess. Kids ran around crazy unsupervised which, of course, leads to workers having to reinforce their rules- I 100% understand that. But the way you speak to kids says a lot about your character. The worker, in the nastiest attitude I’ve ever heard a grown adult speak to a child in, says “STOP running NOW. Do you want to meet the big manager of this place?!” Very bad attitude. If you don’t want to work around children, don’t… if it would have been my child she spoke to like that, To put it nicely, I would’ve beat her ass. To sum it up : 4/5 stars. My kid had fun and we had to force him to leave to get food and drinks after almost 3 hours of straight playing. The place needs a little bit of maintenance and a deep clean but it’s nothing to cause us to up and leave. The main concern was the mop bucket used for leaking water, that could be a huge problem for a young kid. It only takes 2 inches of water for a kid to drown. It’s very affordable and can be a good way to waste a rainy day or tire your kids out lol.

Treaty Oak - Jacksonville Sgt. Mann: What a beautiful park. The oaks are so cool. The history there is also amazing. I found it very peaceful when I went. I do wish that people would be more mindful of their trash and put it the trash receptacle.

Shipwreck Island Water Park - Jacksonville Beach Nailz904: Bathroom gross……….get a LOCKER & GROUPON the RAGE & STORM is best slide but very overcrowded but not much to offer done in one hour in total I paid $45 have zero plans to go back unless someone else buys my ticket. Too many children running around not attended to by parents I seen one parent attempt to force a very small toddler down a big steps without holding his hand at all. Very chaotic overall… park isn’t well planned out at all. The cabana does not seem worth paying extra being right in the middle of the huge crowd at the wave pool.

Beaches Museum - Jacksonville Beach Wind Tree Studios: This is not only a museum but also a beautiful art gallery where local artists showcase their work. There is a small theater where local documentary videos are shown, a gift shop, many historical exhibits, a huge steam engine with its own dedicated building and a small Church on the grounds. This place is wonderful and has something for everyone! Thank you Jon for a memorable tour!

MOCA (Museum Of Contemporary Art), Jacksonville - Jacksonville Miho “Miholovestoeat”: This museum is absolutely amazing! I always love coming here, but this time was especially special because my creative friends’s art are there now. The opening night for the contemporary art show was packed with incredibly talented people. It was an incredible experience!

Huguenot Memorial Park - Jacksonville Katja Jalonen: Fantastic experience - but not for the light sleeper! The Navy helicopters were circling above us and doing drills late into the night - we loved it. Beautiful area to walk and even drive your car onto the beach. Plenty of places to walk your pups though they were bummed they were not allowed on the beaches. We will definitely stay here again!

Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve - Jacksonville Joshua Andrade: The 2 entrances Spanish Pond (red) and Theodore Roosevelt (blue) are 1.7 miles apart using the fastest route. The scenic trail (black) is a loop that takes you to a beautiful beachy peninsula with a raised viewing platform. I walked from the spanish pond trailhead to the Roosevelt trailhead and then almost all of the scenic trail loop and finished back at my starting point with 4.1 miles total in 1 hour 20 minites. A surprising amount of elevation for Florida, this trail really was a treat. There is a bathroom at only the Theodore Roosevelt trailhead and there is a picnic table as well. This trail system is very well marked with maps along the trail. There are also a lot of benches along the way and theyre placed very nicely in front of some gorgeous oaks. The trail is pretty wide and for the most part can walk 2x. It does get skinnier on the black scenic loop but is only for a short part. This is a very worthwhile hike.

Jacksonville Beach Pier - Jacksonville Beach Hakan Akel: Jax Beach Pier is such a peaceful spot to visit! Whether you’re there to take in the ocean views, do some fishing, or just enjoy a walk, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The pier stretches way out into the water, giving you amazing views of the coastline — especially around sunset. It’s clean, family-friendly, and there’s usually a nice breeze that makes it even better. There’s a small fee to walk out on the pier, but it’s totally worth it for the experience. Plus, there are plenty of places nearby to grab a snack or just hang out by the beach afterward. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re visiting Jacksonville!

Amelia Island State Park - Jacksonville Jacob Camacho: This is the best spot to drive your 4 x 4 vehicle on the beach and have a date. Not a lot of people know about the island, and it’s beautiful. People fish and relax. The sunset was beautiful as well.

Crystal Springs Park - Jacksonville srinithi balakrishnan: This park is perfect for birthday celebrations with its spacious pavilion. The newly renovated play area is ideal for kids, and its great for picnics and relaxed walks.

Fort Caroline National Memorial - Jacksonville Joshua Andrade: Beautiful little loop with a surprising amount of elevation change for Florida. Some very old oaks along the walk as well. The first part of the trail runs along the water and has some scenic views of the river. My walk was 1.52 miles walking to all corners inside the fort and doing the full loop. Not the longest trail but the Spanish Pong Loop trail system is just outside of the park entrance and is a literal 20 second drive if youre looking to add more miles.
