2 /5 Layah Yasharahla: My first time visiting the salon some years ago , I had a very pleasant experience . The person who did my hair (Loretta) was very professional , the place was clean and the few stylist I met , were very nice . However , this time around , was the complete opposite . The same young lady who did my hair the first time , had been advertising that she sold hair bundles , after seeing a picture of a custom colored sew in she did , I booked an appointment . I then texted her and asked if she had saw that I even scheduled an appointment (as two whole days went by without a confirmation ). She finally told me that I needed to leave a deposit first . She did not tell me how, after a few messages and a day later , she told me cash or PayPal . I sent her my email to invoice me , since she did even send me her email so I could pay . Later, I told her I would be getting the bundles from her and sent a few messages on what style I was thinking of getting (since she never even asked ), she then told me two days wasn’t enough time for her to color the bundles . Because of that , I had to scramble to find a new style and hair , I then had to ask her what type of hair could she or did she like to work with , she told me . Long story short , instead of the stylist who is the professional , inquiring about what style I was getting and telling me what hair and how much to bring , It took a week if back and forth and me always having to message first , to figure out what I needed to bring . It all ended when we then had a misunderstanding over hair washing , I’m accustomed to a salon washing every customers hair before servicing it . She said they did not and I was fine with that , one message led to another and we decided it would be best if we didn’t go ahead with the appt . That was unfortunate . What’s even worse is that talking to “Dee” about doing my child’s hair , she completely ignored my message asking for her styleseat information so I could book an appointment , and when I followed up some hours later - politely telling her that if she couldn’t do my daughters hair just let me know - she replied “ok”. This is well before anything happened with the other stylist and I .
Bottom line is , the place is nice , unfortunately - their so used to their normal clients , that new clients such as I , are treated indifferently .
