5 /5 Drew Wally: The staff are very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The history of the aquarium is presented well and they have sea turtles and the local marine life on display. If vacationing in the area I would highly recommend going and seeing this attraction. They have everything from sea turtles to nurse sharks and the staff run shows nearly hourly.

5 /5 David Blair: A very old aquarium attraction built in the 1930s. It was the first tourist attraction on Key West. Indoor and outdoor exhibits. Narrated shows at intervals, provide interesting information about the facility, its inhabitants and the ecosystems of their origins.

5 /5 Stan Arnold: Quaint and a bit small, but very nice. Seahorse exhibit was my favorite. Very interesting, (and kind of sad), stories about the rescued sea turtles. Staff is very knowledgeable about their sea creatures. Stingrays and horseshoe crabs are always fun. We would return!

5 /5 Rory Morse: We have been to the aquarium a couple of times. It is always fascinating to see how they adapt after major weather circumstances put them in a bind. The staff is always friendly and the enclosures are always clean. It is a nice way to spend some time out of the sun on the warmer days.

5 /5 Gilmore Joshua (YoshNash): Very cute little aquarium had several sea turtles that have been injured and recovery there several tanks with lobsters and shrimp and different types of salt water. Life has a large pond on the other side with large saltwater fish eels give you detailed description of the fish and what they are and how they eat and what not Also nurse sharks they feed them. They learn about them neat little small aquarium.

Mel Fisher Maritime Museum - Key West Lindsey A. Thomson Heberlein: Worth the visit! Very interesting. I was expecting a bit more focus on the ships and where each piece came from. A lot of items not related to his finds. African slave trade museum is upstairs. Mostly silver from the ships, coins, some cool jewelry. You can’t buy authentic coins there, just reproductions. Would have been nice to focus more on the ships than a general American history.

Yankee Freedom- Dry Tortugas National Park Museum - Key West Anders Wahlqvist: Calm small museum, not too much to see but a nice quick stop when visiting Key West. The girl attending the small exhibit was nice, polite and pretty. She also made a nice drawing that has nothing to do with the exhibit.

Smathers Beach - Key West Shawna L.: Easy beach access. Lots of parking. Restrooms were closed at the end of the day -early evening hours. Had a few different shower areas at each beach entrance/exit. Did see a lifeguard that was closing up his station - this was around 5pm. There are lots of picnic tables and seating by the parking area. A section of the water that was close to the shore had a dip in the sea level...so be mindful, especially with kids. Can play beach volleyball. Huge long stretch of sand to stretch out between people. Great for kids, families- and everyone.

Key West Ghost And Mysteries Tour - Key West Carrie Albright: We wanted a tour that immersed us in the mysterious unknowns and history of Key West and this tour did exactly that! Ted was an engaging guide who was clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His storytelling got us wrapped up in each spooky tale, taught us a little about how to spot paranormal presence in photos, and threw in some sillier tales and a few jokes, too. A great tour with a passionate expert—highly recommend!

Keepers Quarters Museum - Key West Alberto Nicanor Rosario Mendez: Its nice to see how was life in those times. Its kinda spooky imagining yourself in that corner of the world being the sole responsible of keeping the lighthouse alive Not really exciting honestly. Only for the fans

Clarence S.Higgs Memorial Beach - Key West Jessica Velez: This beach was okay. There are alot of rocks right along the shore where you walk in (you cant avoid it), we almost fell every time getting in and out perhaps because the waves were kind of strong that day and there was also a steep dip in the water along the rocks/shore. The water was nice and it was very clean. The stairway to get to that pier was super slippery due to the algae so be careful. One really cool thing was that although the beach is small.there was an umbrella and chair service there for cheap, you could rent all day until 5pm. There were some beautiful palm and coconut trees and there was a restaurant with clean bathrooms right next to it. It was also very lively but not too loud, people playing volleyball and some people playing an instrument on the sand, it was pleasant. It was nice for my hubby and I to relax and drink but I would not bring my kids here and if we had a car I might go to another beach because of the rocky shoreline.

The Box Key West - Key West Alicia Rogers: Lives up to the hype. It’s the boxiest box I have ever taken a photo of. Skip the lines at the southernmost point and just take a family photo with the box. Can’t wait to get this one framed!

Greetings from Key West - Key West Jennifer Reagan: We spent a fun weekend in Key West. Worked our way up and down Duval Steet, stopped at Mallory Square, had dinner at Blue Haven and so much more. We had a great time exploring.

Key West Garden Club at West Martello Tower - Key West Lisa Hnilica: Such a beautiful place to stop in and tour. Clean and easy to walk through at your own pace. Lots of spots for photo opts. We really enjoyed our visit during vacation. Free to enter, they do accept donations. Its right next to White Street Pier (aka Edward B. Knight pier), so make sure you check that out too!
