4 /5 Joe Rubino: A fairly new park. It is about a 1 mile short walk that includes a stop along the St. Lucie River, where there is a dock for viewing. There are a couple of wooden walkways along the trek. Great for kids or just a quick stroll to get outdoors.

5 /5 Robert S: Such a beautiful park! This is a must if you are in the area. Even if you are short on time you could rush the trail in under 20 minutes. It has great views, boardwalks, rabbits, birds and a peaceful view of the water. Just keep in mind there are no restrooms here so plan accordingly. Park was very empty on a weekend so there was plenty of parking. All in all 9 out of 10 due to no restrooms

5 /5 Cristopher Prado: Nice place to be in the nature for a bit. Trails are well maintained, easy to follow and overall give you a nice break from the urban setting. The viewpoint of the Port St Lucie river and the Veterans Memorial Bridge is very nice. We had a picnic in the "tiki hut" at the entrance and all, so we took our time but the hiking is usually 30-40 mins long. Parking is limited but Id say space is enough.

Stuart Ghost Tours and Haunted Pub Crawls - Stuart ScottsJourneys: If your looking for a spooky, fun-filled evening with a side of local lure, the Stuart Ghost Tours is the place to be. Our guide was absolutly fantastic-super nice, hilariously witty, and a walking encyclopedia of Stuarts haunted history. Every tale had us captivated (and occasionally looking over our shoulders). But the real show-stealer? Bob. Oh yes we met Bob along the way-a very interesting character who decided to stick around for the rest of the tour. Now, were not saying hes a ghost, but lets just say he had a knack for popping up at just the right (or wrong?) moments. Bob added an extra layer of "boo-tiful" hilarity to the night-hes basically part of the crew now.

Halpatiokee Regional Park - Stuart lisa murdock: I hike here every time I visit the area. It’s spectacular, the trees are almost completely covered in air plants, bromeliads. There are tortoises and alligators as well! Lots of parking and bathrooms.

Virginia Forrest Beach - Stuart B Main: Has a great time. The beach is clean and waves were not so big

Sandsprit Park - Stuart Stephen White: After a trip to see the Banyan tree tunnels in the area, we decided to stop to see if we could see any manatees. We did not but we enjoyed the park and the local wildlife. Theres plenty here for everyone from river access, fishing, photography, walking, and areas for kids to play. Theres also plenty of parking for cars and trucks with boat trailers.

Joes River Park - Stuart G Griff: Small road side park with boardwalk to boat and fishing dock. Parking for about 10 cars. Picnic shelter. Dedicated to a local teen.

Twin Rivers Park - Stuart Atlas/ DeLaPaz: The park is vary nice good for walking fishing or a picnic with the family. The park is clean too.

Hosford Park - Stuart Jason Burchard: Good kayaking down the St Lucie river. To the island and back is about two hours and no tough current to paddle against.

Stuart Art Festival - Stuart Fisco’s Flicks: Downtown Stuart, where charm meets beauty, where art, culture, and waterfront views meet that highlights the town’s cultural attractions.

Paradox Museum Miami - Miami Fritz Javel: A really great museum, lots of fun and the staff are there at times to help you understand the illusions. However the museum is showing its age in a lot of ways. Some things don’t work, while objects are removed from some wall displays causing the experience to be a bit hampered. Still really cool and fair priced.
