  • The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art - Winter Park Dmitriy A: A Hidden Gem Showcasing Tiffany’s Brilliance — and Affordable Too! The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum is one of Orlando’s best-kept secrets, especially for fans of Tiffany & Co. and decorative arts. The collection is stunning — from iconic stained glass windows and intricate lamps to jewelry and an entire Tiffany-designed chapel from the 1893 World’s Fair. The museum walks you through the legacy of Louis Comfort Tiffany with beautiful displays and detailed context. It’s peaceful, well-organized, and never crowded — perfect for a relaxing cultural escape. And the best part? Tickets are incredibly affordable, just a few dollars per person, making this a must-visit whether youre local or just passing through. An amazing experience for art lovers at a fraction of the cost of other attractions.
Central Park - Winter Park Sharon Perkins: Orlando, FL. It’s so clean, open, and adorned with well-cared-for flowers! This park is a beautiful invitation to roam and take photos and dream.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Park - Winter Park C Lawson: We love this playground. It’s all wood. There are also swings and a couple slides. It’s perfect for kids to use their imagination. There are fields, a small lake, an outdoors workout area, benches, log seating, and it’s right beside the winter park library. Most kids my son has met here are nice and love to play tag or hide and seek. Or whatever other game they come up with. There are bathrooms (however they could be cleaner at times in my opinion…)
Community Playground - Winter Park Chuck Peabody: Our family reserved the pavilion and had a birthday party for a three year old at the park today. Lots of kids ages 1-8. Worked out great. Playground gave kids a place to burn energy. Six large picnic tables at pavilion for eating food and cake. Park is clean and in very good shape.
Shady Park - Winter Park L J: Beautiful quit park!! I loved all the areas to sit. Little libraries. All the history. Bathrooms and parking.
Dinky Dock Park - Winter Park Anna Ko: Dock Park at Rollins College is a fantastic spot for launching boats, kayaks, and paddleboards. The boat ramp is easy to use, making it a great place for both beginners and experienced paddlers. There’s a spacious, free parking lot, which is a huge plus, especially on busy weekends. The area is well-maintained, with clean restrooms available for visitors. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with scenic lake views and plenty of greenery. It’s a peaceful place to relax, enjoy the water, or just take in the view. Whether you’re here for a quick paddle or a longer boating trip, it’s a convenient and well-kept launch site. Definitely one of the best spots in Winter Park for water access!
Lake Rose - Jason: This is the Winter Park Sinkhole that made national news in 1981
Howell Branch Preserve - Winter Park Nyomi Senpai: This place is great. Very small but also spacious for intimate events. We had our son’s birthday party here and it was awesome. The pavilion is always clean, as well as the restrooms. It’s spacious enough for a bounce house and balls pits. If you’re looking for a small area to have family in time this is the perfect place. The pavilion comes with outlets, 4 6ft tables and 2 8tf tables.
Phelps Park - Winter Park MS Tuvas: Phelps Park is a wonderful place with so much to offer! The playground is spacious, well-maintained, and provides plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. My 4-year-old loves the variety of equipment and the beautiful, shaded areas make it a great spot for families to relax. However, I did notice a safety concern at the entry—there is a metal piece sticking out of the door handle, which could pose a risk, especially for little ones. My 4-year-old almost bumped his head on it. Hopefully, this can be addressed soon to ensure the park remains a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. Overall, it’s a fantastic park, and we’ll definitely be back!
Azalea Lane Playground - Winter Park J Carter: Very clean & peaceful park. In central of small neighborhood community. Plenty of shade for sunny day play. Play systems to fit all ages & stages
