4 /5 Ms. Vincent: Updated review: I was called by the owner who apologized for my experience and offered to correct the problem and hoped that I would return to the salon. I truly appreciate a company who cares about customer feedback. I did my nails with Lyn and she did an amazing job.
Original 2 star review: This was my first time at Lamia. I showed the young lady at the front desk the design I wanted and asked for someone who was capable. I got a basic pedicure with gel polish. That experience was fine. My nails… this is the reason for my review of 2 stars. Once again. I showed a picture of what I wanted and the only thing I changed was the shape of the nails. I chose Gelx bc I got a coffin shape and a lot of people have a difficult time shaping with acrylic. Medium length. The gap between 7 of my nails and the gelx extension is unbelievable. This is how people get fungus on their nail. When the water is trapped. The lady could not do the half flower design with 4 petals. Instead it looks like the foot of a chicken. And she didn’t put any of the other designs that were in the picture. If I had the time, I would’ve taken them off and left with my nails not done. Next time, if you don’t have someone who can do the work, then just say so. I would’ve respected that more than wasting $120 on my nails. The reason I gave two stars was bc she didn’t mess up my pedicure. The pictures below: the first one is what I asked for. The other two pictures: what I got. Looks nothing like flower petals to me.
