5 /5 Cortes Catherine “Cat”: Its so beautiful and peaceful. The park is large and secluded with many places to rent for picnic, parties, whatever your occasion. Call and you can reserve a certain area. But there are also plenty of places to stop and eat throughout that are free. The boardwalk is breathtaking. There is plenty of wildlife to see, and its just so peaceful. Remember to look up for the sleeping screech owl or another bird life we have here. I got to see a cardinal, and walking through the trees was just serene. They are extending the board walk as well as updating and making repairs. Its a family or walkers/hikers dream. Many trail to take all over the place and a large one that goes around the perimeter.

5 /5 B Diddy: Beautiful nature park! I loved the lookout tower, where you could climb and look out over the lake. Lovely scenery, great trails and areas to sit. Restrooms were clean, playground was nice and the park had a workout area as well. Saw people walking their dogs and you could see alligators, armodillos and herons! Park was great overall!

5 /5 Kelly: A beautiful county park right in Temple Terrace area of Tampa. The boardwalk is awesome and the lookout tower is a big hit! They’re doing some construction and repairing boardwalks so expect a little dust! Restrooms that had been closed are open which is a plus! Great walking trails!

5 /5 Keely Mihok-Clark: As soon as your under the canopy of the massive trees these relaxing vibes wash over you. Like a different world. Magical. Had a super cool convo with Mary at the visitor center, she is very knowledgeable, friendly and very interesting. A big thanks to her and the others who volunteer to keep habitats safe for us, the wildlife & our ecosystem. Also, for making it possible for us to have access to these spectacular sights & living creatures as they are in their natural habitat!!!

Croc Encounters - Tampa Paul Jozefak: We had a great time with our almost 9 year old. He really enjoyed being able to hold a python and a gator. The tour is quite comprehensive and DJ was a fun guide. I wound recommend that they get the repairs on the boardwalk through the park done. At times I was a bit concerned about all the little kids potentially getting hurt but I am totally aware of cost constraints and am glad that this sanctuary exists. I am sure keeping it running is more important for the animals than making it perfect. Hence I also recommend folks go there. Keeping this business running is probably tough and I am quite confident that the deal you get (4 people for 100 bucks) is one of the better ones in Florida. Go during the week and off-season if possible to get smaller groups. Also go to the bathroom at home. There are Porta Potties but I’d only consider those a fail safe.

New Tampa Nature Park - Tampa rex donahough: Its about a half day park, but its attached to other parks. Has a couple of play areas, not a lot, though. Paved trail goes to other long bike trails. No restrooms other than a port-a-potty Its definitely a nice little Park, unfortunately youll never not hear the highway. Still, there are a few beautiful Cypress swamps and a couple of nice Boardwalk areas to chill out in. Plenty of picnic areas to stop and soak in nature with. BE AWARE that all of the hiking trails seem to dead end, but the paved trail goes out to more paved trails that lead into other parks adjacent to this one.

Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park - Tampa Cat Wilson.: We loved the riverfront park, a lot to do in the area ( basketball, tennis, pickleball, running, exercising equipment) we loved the splash pad and the park, after playing about we walked the riverside and it was very peaceful and calming. We watched a few boats pass us by very friendly folks aboard, we all loved seeing all the art work. Beautiful environment !! We will be returning soon!!!

Cobras Curse - Tampa Noah Von Dauber: Cobras Curse is one of the most unique roller coasters I have ever ridden. It starts off with an elevator that takes you to the top, and then you glide through the rest of it as your cart spins around randomly, which in my opinion adds to the thrill, especially when youre going straight backwards!

Riverview Terrace Park - Tampa Reddgie Thormann: Its okay. Not a pretty park but it worked for what I needed it for. I put in a workout here during lunch hours and I had the park to myself, even though school was out. The basketball court is slippery due to fading paint so be careful while playing basketball. Interestingly, there is a roller-blade hockey rink at this park. Thats about it. Just an ordinary park.

Upper Tampa Bay Park - Tampa Hansel Hansel: Good place for kayaking Many trails to connect with nature Some wildlife There are plenty of mosquitos!!! Bring repellent Trails have interactive media, QR code u scan with your phone and tells you useful info of that area in particular Some restrooms were not properly working, and the hand soap was not working as well as sink.

Ybor City Historic District - Tampa Wee Lass: My daughter drove me around the historic district one afternoon to see the cities chickens that wander through town. Look up the history of them. Its quite interesting. Cobblestone streets, a pretty park. It was not crowded during the week. Pretty empty of cars and people.

Butterfly Tampa - Tampa Susan Macbeth: Cute little shop with everthing for the butterfly lover which is surrounded by a variety of beautiful native plants you can purchase to put in your garden, and helpful and informative staff. They have private parties and an optional membership to view reptiles and bugs in a new private exhibit.
