1 /5 Ty Connelly: Life.Church is one of the largest churches in the country because theyve built their model on being a seeker-sensitive church. While I wouldnt say they get into prosperity gospel stuff like other big name churches do, they also arent a church Id ever go to because it feels like the goal is get people in the door, entertain then, and then expand their church empire.
They "plant churches" that are just campuses that live stream Craig Groeschel preaching instead of actually planting autonomous churches with leaders who actually lead.
Craig Groeschel has some good leadership stuff for business leaders, but I dont find anything very theologically deep there.
They are the designers being the ever growing "At the Movies" series that many churches do during the summer. Its a series where they show clips for current and popular movies and do skits based on those movies, and then loosely try to tie the gospel into whatever movie they are playing that Sunday.
For context, I attended for several years and my advice is -
Id avoid this church
