1 /5 Frank Page: My name is Frank Page with Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort. I lost my wife about a year ago and she was a minister of music for a number of churches and I was always the greeter at the church where she worked. Ive been looking for a church that I would fit in. I have visited this church about 5 times and I asked Bubba if I could help him greet people at the front door. He said yes! So I greeted most of the morning with him, under his supervision and I thought I was developing a really good friendship. I liked it so much I went back the following Sunday and I asked the new greeter for that day if I could help him and he told me No. He said I had to ask a certain person if I could be a greeter. I asked if this person was coming to church that day and he told me yes. I asked if he could point him out so I could ask him and he said yes. When the gentleman showed that I needed to talk to, we went back to his office and he told me they only allow one greeter at the front door. I said I personally dont believe that God had anything to say about that decision as he fired me. So I just would like people to know that he really hurt my feelings. I would suggest you change that rule before you hurt anybody elses feelings. In my business I encourage all of my staff to greet all of our customers!
