Only a few years I didnt go because I moved near Dunedin to share a home. Keep meaning to get back. People applied what they learned here to their lives; so important!! Very special people and teaching. Dr. Lewis is a great teacher also! He moved down from MD. ;). Great moves of the Holy Spirit.

D Theman: Great service. Everyone was very warm and made me feel like an old friend. The pastor has something to say and delivers it in a concise way, with a little southern baptist style on top. The music program has some good singers, the pastor sings and plays guitar well and the pianist is very good. Will be coming here from now on.

The church members treated the staff with no respect during their vote- locking them out of the hall??? Insulting them??? Really can’t understand how they call themselves christian. Serving children is such a beautiful ministry.

Kindness, worship and amazing scripture shared each weekend. They have an awesome kids service on Sundays at 10am too! Thank you Pastor Aaron for bringing a radiant Church to Clearwater and thank you Pastor Jose and Nicholle for leading this new congregation! Hazel Merihew: Ironically, We watched a sermon on a TV screen about the loneliness problem in our culture. They broadcast prerecorded sermons and the preacher has on jeans. Why did I leave home for this? Everyone was nice but this is another typical rock band church. The sermon is a quirky message about how maybe we should share our problems, make some friends friends, and maybe you should listen to your wife, shes not wrong about everything (eye roll). Sprinkle in a punchline or two about how teenagers make no sense, "back in my day we drank from the house!" Uninspiring. If youre a typical middle class family who wants to put a check in the box that you went to church on Sunday then this is a good place for you.

Clearwater Community Church - Dunedin

Chelsea Cornnell: I attended this church for about 4 months. Its a nice, easy going, medium-sized church. I was happy there until I learned that they prohibit women from attaining leadership roles within the church (such as becoming an "elder"). I spoke with one of the pastors and was offered a meeting so that he could explain their reasoning in depth. I declined, as there is nothing that he could say that would convince me to continue bringing my daughters to a church that intended to teach them that they are someone less qualified to lead just because they are women. Jesus preached inclusion and love, not division and discrimination. I will not be going back.
