2 /5 Jenni Lenis: Today was my first time going there. I called that morning to make an appointment at 2PM and they were nice. The plaza is small and so is the salon. It was packed when I arrived but I was seated immediately with my technician. Her name was Virginia, super sweet older lady, very personable. I asked for a simple gel manicure.
My first issue with her is that she cut too much of sides leaving them sensitive to the touch. She said I had too cuticle, and then I already had a cut on my thumb but instead of avoiding the area, she decided to cut the cuticle making my cut bleed. And then she cut me again on my pinky finger. My third issue, and I might be picky on this one, but that’s my opinion, she didn’t paint all the way to the tip or around the nail. I think she would benefit with more training.
I was going to say something to management but honestly, after she took an hour doing a simple manicure, I just wanted to leave. My nails feel rough and sticky. All in all, I won’t be going back.
