1 /5 KELIA TEJADA: I had a terrible experience at NailSpa Miami Wellness Center. I went in for a relaxing foot massage and specifically told them I didn’t want to renew my nail polish, only to get the hot wax service. The service provider didn’t speak English, so I couldn’t communicate my needs. At first, I thought it wasn’t a big deal, but it quickly became clear that this spa isn’t as professional as it claims to be. The technician started removing my nail polish without asking, and I had to yell to stop her. Not only did she mess up my nails, but the massage was rough, fast, and definitely not relaxing—it felt like she was rushing through to get to the next customer.
I work in heels every day and really needed a proper massage, but instead, I left feeling worse. When I spoke to the front desk, she try to help and spoke to the owner who said I should’ve spoken up during the service, but how could I when I couldn’t even communicate with the lady? The owner didn’t care at all and offered no empathy, even though I wasn’t asking for a discount, just for some understanding. I paid $56 for an awful experience, and no one seemed to care. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you want quality service and customer care.
