What Clients Are Saying about Ocala Christian Church (on GG)
5 /5 Daniel Sweigard: We loved our visit to OCC and can’t wait to be back. They love God and they love people.
4 /5 Jennifer Henson: I have been to this church several times and I have enjoyed it immensely each time. The Bible study on Wednesday evening and the women’s group they all just make you feel right at home. The pastor is a great example of how to love the lord and preach the gospel!! I’m glad my family and I have found a church
1 /5 TB GIBSON: As a African American funeral business owner I had the opportunity to work with Debra i believe she is the secretary she was able to secure the location so that we may have a viewing service at their church. She was very helpful...
Fast forward to the day of the viewing I called Debra and expressed that we were running late. We arrived at the church and before we can get out the vehicle a man who said he was the former treasure expressed that we couldnt take the body into the church until we paid the fee I told him I had to go to the bank and get it out .... his response was well you need to go get it. I asked him to let me put the body in the church he refused until I went to the bank to get the money. I never ever like to turn things into a race issue but on this day i felt because we are a young African American business the guy felt the need to flex his ability upon us. As a business doing business with another business (the church) this is not the way to be treated... Ive served families of the Confederate community and was treated like family!!!
5 /5 Joel & Amy Lane: This is the friendliest church I have ever been to. Even better than that, they are “real“ people. No judgment, no guilt trips, just a lot of love and total acceptance. Pastor Roger is amazing and he shoots from the hip, saying nothing he doesn’t back up with scripture. The music ministry team is wonderful. Casual dress (yay!) and even coffee and donuts before service begins! Home sweet home!
5 /5 Meghan Pace-King: “The perfect church for imperfect people” captures the essence of this church family. If you’re looking to walk through doors and feel absolutely no judgement, this is the place. It’s small enough to feel like family yet, has some modern touches that young families can relate to. Sermons are based solely on God’s word delivered by a pastor with a strong knowledge of theology and history. Children’s ministry hosts a nursery room, a toddler room and an elementary class all with loving volunteers multiple loving volunteers.
Shawana McDonald: I’ve recently attended this church for a funeral; I am not a member but I was treated with so much kindness from the members of this church. Special shout out to Pastor Joey; I needed a lot of assistance with media and he was extremely helpful, always smiling, and eager to serve. Pastor Brister was the first person I met as I walked in, he was kind, welcoming, and made me feel like I was at my home church. When it was time to clean up, some members of the church ask to help us, they were so cheerful with beautiful smiles. The church itself is beautiful. If I’m ever in the area again, I would love to fellowship here.
Scott Cutler: We absolutely love Cornerstone! From the moment you walk in, youre greeted with such warmth and genuine love—it truly feels like family. The preaching is powerful, biblical, and life-changing. The worship is incredible—passionate, Spirit-led, and always ushers in the presence of God. You can feel the move of the Holy Ghost every time we gather. If youre looking for a church thats welcoming, full of faith, and hungry for Gods presence, this is the place to be!
Kevin Tasson: This past weekend we went to the live nativity at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church ... This is our first experience with Good Shepherd Presbyterian church ... my kids were in awe the whole time... they loved the variety of animals... the illustrations were well written and clearly readable:-) admittedly I was fully unprepared to play the self-guided tour tracks because I was out of data but I played them later and the tracks were well done... Though I had no track to listen to the signs and illustrations were enough to guide me through the experience sufficiently... the grass was a little bit tall in my opinion and the ground uneven which made it hard for the kiddos to walk easily... all the people were well-dressed in good quality costumes and very courteous offering to take pictures and getting into their parts really well... the buildings or structures at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church seem well maintained... the pillar of Fire display was pretty awesome and the photos I took do not do it justice...
