Old Fort Park - Fort Pierce (FL)

5 /5 Alicia Vega: Such an amazing historical place! You can feel the energy and if you listen the wind speaks. It’s not a very large place, there are no restrooms or play area. No hiking trails. Nice grounds for a picnic. The Indian River is across the street.

4 /5 Wonder WomanXE: The location is off but still located on S Indian River Blvd. We locals call this the “ scenic route “ from Fort Pierce to Jensen Beach. It’s a road traveled along the beautiful Indian River! If you’re here visiting take the scenic route! You won’t be disappointed!

5 /5 Pinup Pixie: This park is the prettiest little spot to sit under the Spanish Moss and watch the river. There’s almost always a pleasant breeze, and the entire park is shaded by huge trees. I come to doodle, the park is quiet and offers the perfect environment to let my mind wander…

5 /5 Maraliz Stenson: Its a small park with lots of historical plaques. I learned so much when we went there. Most definitely a good place to visit if you dont have a lot of time, but want something interesting to do.

4 /5 Adrienne Lanuti Howanitz: You will find accurate information about the history of the area at this landmark, along with a beautiful view of the river. The park could be better maintained as far as picking up trash left by visitors. The trash can was full & overflowing. I once attended a wedding held at this location. Great place to stop with out of town visitors who are interested in the areas history.
