Karim Chadwick: I moved to Sumter County from South Florida a few months ago and had been without a home church since 2023. As part of a ministry that travels across the U.S. hosting baptism revivals, I needed a church to call home when I wasn’t on the road. In late December 2024, I searched for churches near me, and the name of this church immediately caught my attention. (I had visited a few others previously.) My first visit was the last Sunday of the year, and since then, I’ve attended every Sunday service as well as the Thursday night Bible studies.
I’m very cautious when it comes to church groups. Too many churches today lack the presence of the Holy Spirit, some focus more on entertainment or social media clicks, and others spend 30 minutes asking for money (while not even offering free water unless you pay for it). Trust me, this is not one of those churches.
This church is small (for now), but the Holy Spirit is undeniably present—not just during the sermon, but also in the people, the worship, and the heartfelt prayers offered for anyone in need. It’s a diverse group of people across all ages, united by a shared fire for Jesus.
Even though I’ve only been attending for one month, I already feel at home. If you’re searching for a church that isn’t afraid to speak the truth and embraces the spiritual side of following Jesus, this is the place for you. God is Spirit, and we are called to live in the Spirit, not the flesh. Jesus gave us a mission: to spread the truth of the gospel, heal, deliver, and grow in our relationship with Him every day.
I hope this helps anyone who’s been searching for a genuine, Spirit-filled church. Come and see for yourself—you won’t regret it!
Christina Ables: My husband and I felt the presence of God the first time we walked into this church! We are so grateful God led us to this place. Many opportunities for involvement and spiritual growth. The congregation is so welcoming. Truly feels like family :-)
