5 /5 Kevin Reid: Nice park on Newnans lake. Quite shaded with lots of wildlife and a walking trail. Good places to fish from the bank. Bring bug spray

4 /5 Carrie Suen: Its a decent park given the fact that its free. There are some great sites for photography and the breeze feels great here during the evenings. There are some decent spots for fishing, just try not to get your lines stuck in the foliage. Nice place to wind down and relax. The trails are not too well defined and some of them are obstructed by fallen trees. I would also stay away from the free sunscreen they provide. The sign for parking could also be bigger. It is a bit hard to see from the road. There is also a no parking sign next to the parking area which makes it a bit confusing. There are also no restrooms.

5 /5 Randy Hoyum: Quite place when alone. Grounds are a little soft and shore area a little messy. Benches and one table are dirty. Regular maintenance of this city park must be lacking during "public health shut-down".

Spent a couple hours with 50 of my closest friends having a kickball tourney and eating lunch. Several benches to sit at and ample parking.

Cofrin Nature Park - Gainesville Flabeano Castro: Good park, but needs maintenance. Good trails and playground, but there is a metal rebar in the middle of the trail and a wasp nest in the playground.

Survivors Memory Garden - Gainesville Mike P: A wonderful labyrinth, mediation garden, and powerful sculpture of basalt columns representing the survivors grief and loss after a individuals tragedy. Several benches in the shade, after a short stroll, is a great place to sit and reflect.

Veterans Memorial Park - Gainesville Dylan Demers: Lovely park with many amenities :) Large playground for kids, basketball court, volley ball area, soccer field, roller hockey court, exercise areas, plenty of parking, multiple Pavilions with grills, clean restrooms ! Next to the park is the Chapmans pond nature area for exploring and hiking, great place for quiet walk :) All around great park to visit !
