Jen McNaught: We launch our boat here every year over the Fourth of July! Nice dock to be able to walk to your vessel instead of having to wade through the water. Plenty of parking for trucks and boat trailer and have never had an issue with anyone messing with vehicle or equipment. The bathroom are always open and very clean. They also keep the toilet paper stocked and sanitizer available right by the door to use on your way out. Mystery has plenty of beach area to get your feet wet as long as it’s not high. My kiddos love jumping off the dock into the water every year and mystery is my daughters favorite spot to swim! We have even taken our kayaks out in the bay which is very calm water and perfect if you are just learning to paddle. Best part of course are the crab that are caught! Amenities Include -Boat launch $7 per day to launch -Mooring available $ depend on boat size -Picnic tables -Bathroom (2) -Parking -discovery pass required, $35 for one year -dock -swimming area -pet friendly

Nellie Hughes: This park is really neat, but clearly has seen better days when Im assuming they actually had a budget. The spots by the river are awesome, and the whole drone/model plane field idea is awesome. Definitely am finding out how to river tube from here, as folks have said it was doable and fun.

    Whatcom Museum – The Lightcatcher
Richard Ward: My 2nd stop with my single purchase Whatcom Museum ticket. I just finished a wonderful 2 hrs in the Courthouse, and now after a quick stroll, Im here. This building is one of a kind. Just as it says, the light penetrates through the various rooms, the glass, and courtyard in unique ways and lasts throughout your visit...and beyond. Youll find yourself remembering certain images and the feeling you had within each area of the building. The images take on a life of their own and their message is almost piercing. Just like the light...a wonderful and lasting experience. Much respect for the local indigenous and their history. Good to see the support and exposure here! Nice job Bellingham.

A small section is available for the smaller ones/overwhelmed toddlers. There are often arts and crafts. Grateful to have a place like this in the community. Reasonable price for what you get!

Joyce Santos: This is truly one of the coolest parks we’ve ever been to! I stopped here while traveling and would love to visit again! It’s like 3 parks in one with PLENTY of space for all the children. There is a splash area, sandpit, swings, tunnels, slides, and so much more! The entire park plus playground are super clean and well-maintained. We also loved how nice the restrooms were.

Bj Hendrickson: This is a wonderful garden to see some really amamzing bamboo fields and exotic flowers. It is pretty large and you can walk around freely and take multiple pathways throughout the property. Full of rose gardens, rock gardens and ponds with a touch of Floridas sinkholes. Nice little place to stop in for a couple hours. The staff was very kind.
