Camelot Park - Pensacola wadlde: Tucked Away. No Parking but thats OK, particularlyfor those in the neighborhood. Some locals may seem to suggest the park is somehow private to certain residents. PoGo gym as well.
Historic Fort Barrancas - Pensacola Skye Hanks: We visited Fort Barrancas about 3 weeks ago because it is not only a beautiful historic place to visit but also a great place to take amazing pictures. We took my son there for senior pictures. These images are just the quick snaps I was able to get while the photographer was doing her thing. You will see my son had a little fun at the cannon posing as Captain Morgan lol. On a side note, my husband & I came here to take engagement photos back in 2004 & they turned out amazing as well. Another note I should mention is before going, is to check their hours of operation bc we showed up just before closing so we had to rush. Also, you can schedule a tour & get great historical info from the knowledgeable staff that works there as well. What a great city we live in to be able to be transported back in time for just a little while & slow down for a change even if it is just for an hour or two. I enjoyed the serenity of it all & didnt want to leave.
Tippin Park - Joshua R: Good location but the main slide is broken and so is the platform. Lots of graffiti.
Museum of Industry - Pensacola Dr. Rosie Ann Riley: I really enjoyed this museum as I had never seen equipment used in the older sawmills. It’s self guided and you can take all the time you like to walk through. It’s located in the same area as Lavelle House, Old Christ Church, Museum of Commerce, and Julee Cottage. The museum is put together very well and larger than I expected. I highly recommended visiting if interested in industry! Remember this is on list of places allowed to tour $10 paid to tour most of historic Pensacola. Such a great deal.
Pensacola Beach - Park East - Pensacola Beach Aleksandra Kolesnichenkova: Pensacola Beach offers miles of pristine white sand and a stunning azure bay. Spacious parking areas with restrooms and waste bins provide everything you need for a perfect getaway.
Old Christ Church - Pensacola Dale Thompson: A quant little chapel. We attended a wedding there and it was a perfect venue. Maybe 50 seats in the pews. A unique 2 aisle set up with no center aisle. Historic and centrally located. Nice restaurants and a pub close by. If attending an event plan ahead for parking. There is no real parking lot for the facility.
Bay Bluffs Park - Pensacola Denise Pridemore: Boardwalk is supposed to be closed. There are a few loose boards, but nothing horrible. The long pine needles are a little slippery to walk on. It was spray paint vandalized. The graffiti may be considered offensive, sexual in nature. I wouldnt take children under 10 its a long walk back. We went to Railroad Beach, and to make sure you have swim shoes, it is rocky and beautiful.
Colonial Archaeological Trail - Pensacola jaqwonna brooks: Very cool park and great place to walk around and sight see and learn about the history of Florida! GREAT park
Lavallet Park - Pensacola Rachel Rieder: Cute little hidden gem of a park. Perfect parh for bike riding practice or scootering. Some of the play equipment is older and brings back nostalgic memories that I got to share with my kiddos. Lots of beautiful trees and a picnic area. We had a fun time visiting.
Navy Point Park - Pensacola Alannah Litchult: Beautiful scenery, nice and quiet, long trail walk
