5 /5 Dan Blakeslee: This is the oldest wax museum in America, and its ancient roadside attraction history makes amends for its small footprint. And even with that shortcoming, it still beats some of the other wax museums Ive visited.
Its small but dense. There are a lot of figures crammed together into various sections, and you really have to take your time to comb through them. I personally feel the quality and accuracy of Potters figures exceed that of the standard wax figure. You dont often find yourself thinking, "I know who that is, but it doesnt really look like them."
I also appreciate the free little museum in their lobby. If you are checking out the attractions in St. Augustine, this is a great stop.
