1 /5 Kara Bradley: I wasted four days attempting to make an appointment with Dr. Patels office before finding out he was not accepting new patients. First, as a Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider, Dr. Patel is listed on the BCBS website as accepting new patients. Several calls were made to his office Monday morning before finally getting through to voicemail, which indicated a 48-72 delay to return phone calls. I left a message but never got a call back. After waiting 72 hours I called back Thursday morning only to be informed they were not accepting new patients. It is very inconsiderate to not include this information on voicemail when informing callers to expect a 2-3 day delay in a callback. They should also notify any affiliated insurance providers they are not accepting new patients, especially since this office is unable to return phone calls from patients needing care in a timely manner.
