5 /5 Tracy Bovee: Beautiful traditional Orthodox worship, glorious in music, is just the first thing you notice on entering their sanctuary. The rich color and Christian artistry - represented not only in the iconography and paraments but also in the clergys and deacons vestments - is immensely and deeply meaningful, as well as warm upon the eyes. The people of St. Luke are a part of that warmth. Serious about their worship, they are still welcoming and deeply generous toward and solicitous of visitors. Although I do not understand Russian - the language of their service - I was able to follow along thanks to understanding and generous help of parishioners, who provided a service book and translated addresses at times. Just a wonderful, deeply spiritual experience!
