5 /5 Coral Bay Builders: I always leave St. Ambrose Church feeling good. I have been going to St. Ambrose Church since 2008. The sermons are wonderful and usually receive an applause. I have met some wonderful patrons as well. I read other reviews on here and hope that they are not true as one lady asked for a "God child" letter and because she had not donated money was refused. I rarely have money to donate as I am a single, unmarried, sixty year old lady with no living relatives. That simply is not right on St. St. Ambrose Churchs end. Also, I have been rudely treated as well by the woman that answers the phone at the office and complained twice about it. With that said, I still give St. Ambrose Catholic Church a five star review. The negative comments can be fixed by the Church.

1 /5 Sam Perks: I sincerely hope that our Bishop, or perhaps someone higher-ranking than him gives this parish a scrutinizing look. The distorted liturgical behavior here is enough to challenge one’s faith. My concern is that the liturgy here seemed entirely foreign to me as a Catholic. The Mass seemed more a showy performance than a sacred sacrament; with odd additions that have no relevance to the Catholic faith. It’s hard to describe why I found Mass here so unsettling, but I feel that any Catholic with an upbringing in the faith will find this liturgy upsetting. I’m not describing some kind of post-Vatican II clinging to outmoded tradition. The pastor at this parish and his behavior is simply inconsistent with Catholicism. The pastor’s homily was unintelligible and felt unfocused. The cantors seem intent on being the star of the show. The casual attitude distracted me from spirituality. I came because of proximity, but I would rather travel in the future to attend a Catholic Mass than participate in whatever they are trying to do here. I’m disappointed that someone experiencing a Catholic Mass for the first time might experience this.

1 /5 Mountain Of Thunder: I used to go here but this past Sunday, I’ve finally had it. Does anyone wanna explain to me why the priest talks about sports at the end of church? Does anyone want to explain to me by the priest stops and talks to his favorite people on the way down the aisle? traditional mass is gone it doesn’t exist anymore. The guy who sings every Sunday loves the sound of his own voice, and then there’s clapping at the end. You’re not supposed to clap in church. God is very offended by this. He’s also offended when priests like Darius talk about the dolphins and the Panthers and the Miami Heat at a mass setting. Seriously? The people that come to this church don’t even take mass seriously there’s people in front of me groping each other, kissing each other. It’s disgusting. in a time of prayer, They’re too busy talking about what goes on in their life. There’s nothing serious about the mass here and another thing you’re not supposed to have Eucharistic ministers!!priests are only allowed to touch the holy Eucharist. The traditions from long ago are no longer being practiced in this Catholic Church or any other one. It’s too modern now.
