Hailey did such a great job with highlighting my hair. Its the perfect tone and blended SO well. I love it so much!

5 /5 Lynn H.: Five years. That’s how long it has taken me to find a stylist in Bradenton who I like! Corinna is so kind, so patient, and does great work. She makes me feel comfortable, and is understanding of my indecisiveness as well. I never feel rushed when I am working with her. As far as the salon, everyone else is always pleasant. Especially the front desk woman, who I am sorry but I do not recall her name. She is a gem! I also find the salon to be fairly priced.

1 /5 Holly B: Finally getting around to this. Should be zero stars. But about a year ago I visited this salon. Let me start by saying I hadn’t had my hair done in 9 months due to being pregnant. My old hair dresser who did the best job I’d ever had- moved. So I researched salons close to my home and came across this salon. I saw some really nice work coming from here and we had family coming down- pictures were going to be taken. I decided to book an appointment. They got me in with Corinna, I believe her name was. At my appointment- sitting in the chair discussing with her what I’d like- I show her a picture of how my hair looks when I get it done- I said to her “I’m not sure if you call it ashy or icy but that’s the tone I like”. She seemed to understand what I wanted and began working on my hair. My next complaint is that she yanked my frail wet hair while brushing it. I haven’t had that happen to me at a salon in I couldn’t tell you how many years. That’s not necessary- especially not through frail wet just bleached hair that has virtually no elasticity left. RIP hairs. She dried my hair and in the salon lighting it looked pretty decent. I tipped her well. And then my husband picked me up from the salon. Upon examining my hair under natural lighting I found MANY MANY issues. The tone- I am gold and brassy. I asked for ash/icy. The method of applying color looks choppy. And there is little to NO blending into my roots. They also didn’t do a root tap- so I was left with redness from color lifting and no toner applied. My husband said it looked like someone who just got out of school did my hair. I was so embarrassed of how my hair looked and because we were having our families come down within the week I didn’t want my hair to look like this in all the pictures that would last us a lifetime. My husband encouraged me to call the salon and communicate what had happened. Which I have never done in my ENTIRE life. So after mustering up the courage to do so- and having sent over pictures to the manager. Their response was that the same hair stylist would have to fix my hair because they work off commission. And that there would be a manager there to check in on the process. The manager also seemed to side with the hairstylist in saying that “I wasn’t really sure what I wanted”. Which made me furious- because I stated what I wanted to the hairstylist the only thing I said I was unsure of is do you use the term ash or icy which all in all iykyk - BASICALLY THE SAME THING. So how did I end up gold and brassy? I sent the manager pictures- no one was shocked. No one apologized that work like this came from their salon. No refund of any kind was offered. Just an offer to let that same girl do my hair again. I made an appointment but at last minute decided it would be in my best interest not to go because bleach is very damaging- I wasn’t going to let her try to “fix” her own botched job while the manager pokes his head in. I believe this was a case of lack of experience and/or rushing through. Corinna was leaving for vacation right after my hair appointment and I do felt like she rushed through it because I’ve been getting the same thing done for 5 years and this was the quickest I’ve been in and out of a salon. Needless to say……I had to find another hairstylist who could correct this work- thankfully I ended up with hair I was satisfied with. But only of course after paying another $400 to someone else to fix the $400 hair dye job I had done at shear rituals. The picture on the left is what my hair would normally look like when I got it done. This is ALSO the EXACT same picture I showed the hair stylist. The picture on the right was Corinna’s interpretation of what I had asked for. I know these pictures speak for themselves. Shame on you shear rituals for letting work like this come from your salon. I’d also advise a better policy put in place for mishaps like these- as people most likely don’t want their hair “fixed” again by the person who was supposed to fix it in the first place.

5 /5 Durena Tobin: Unfortunately my hairstylist retired a little over a year ago and right before she did I had already decided to quit getting my hair colored and go natural. So I took over a year letting it go and just trimming the ends myself. It was finally time to get a good haircut and get all of the brassy ends color cut off. I had lots of recommendations for different hairstylist but I was looking for something closer to my house. So on to Google I went. I found that this salon had great reviews. I chose Sarah and booked an appointment. The day came and I was ready. I had to make arrangements with other people to go to my appointment. I received a call that morning that Sarah was sick could they reschedule me. Ugh...I explained that I would have to talk to all involved on my end in order to make arrangements again for another appointment. She then offered me the same time but with Lucaya. I thought why not I was going to someone new anyway. I also remembered seeing her name in some of the good reviews. It is a cute salon and the receptionist was very friendly. Lucaya was very friendly and listened to what I wanted. Everything works out for a reason because Lucaya did a great job and I am very pleased with the results!!!
