5 /5 MrsSGirlie MSG: Last week, I had my hair done by David Michael Greb. First time in a salon since February. Prior to setting up my appointment, I asked David Michael what precautions the salon has taken (due to health reasons). What he told me made me feel comfortable, so I set up an appointment. I was impressed with ALL of the precautions, masks & sanitizing put in place by Shine Hair Design Studio owners David Michael & Mamie, along with staff. Clients/staff were all wearing masks. This salon already had much more space between stylists stations vs other salons I used to go to. By adding the large sheets of nice plastic between each stylists & shampoo bowls, it still gives plenty of space for client/stylist while maintaining social distancing from other clients/stylists/nails. Their other services (nails, etc) were also set up nicely. Don’t hesitate to call David Michael (or your stylist, nail tech, etc) for an appointment. I personally highly recommend David Michael for his excellent cuts, colors & styling, along with his kindness & caring about his clients.

I was hesitant at first since my mom is a client of hers and I wasnt sure if she did mens hair too, but I tried it out and she did an awesome job - I made the switch over to be a regular client right away! She is also as friendly & professional as one can be. Her salon is private, spacious and very clean - all around 10/10 recommend. My dad is even client of her now as well!

The toner she uses gives my hair the perfect tone, whether I’m looking for something bright and fresh or soft and subtle. Beyond her coloring skills, Cole is fantastic with haircuts. She understand my hair type and always delivers a cut that’s flattering, easy to manage, and grows out beautifully. The attention to detail and professionalism are unmatched, and she’s so warm and personable, which makes every appointment a treat. Yellow Strawberry Salon & Spa SRQ - Sarasota hmforrester: I had a wonderful experience today at this salon. George cut and styled my hair. I know nothing about hair or what to do with mine. Whenever I go to get my hair cut, I always hope that someone will help me know what will look best with my hair. George was an answer to that prayer today. I went in asking for layers but he helped me understand how that would not achieve what I really wanted. He suggested texturing. He also educated me on how to maintain my hair and get more from my natural waves/curls. Ive never been so happy leaving a hair salon. I feel so good about my hair and have some new knowledge on how to better care for my hair. I also want to mention all the other staff and how warm and welcoming they are with everyone who walks through the door. Ive definitely found my home salon.

She took the time to understand my objectives and then lent her talent and expertise to apply the perfect highlights, conditioning and cut to my curly tresses. Ive been letting my natural gray grow out, so she did not have an easy task! I love the way Justice listens...truly listens. And asks questions. Then, I trust her do what she thinks would look best. The result today was so much better than I imagined it could be--Im ecstatic! Since have started going to Justice, I get so many compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Her approach to my curly hair is totally different from any other stylist Ive ever had. Other stylists would make my hair look good in the salon and perhaps for a day or two after. The techniques Justice utilizes provide lasting care and high style. The products shes set me up with really help at home, too. Plus, Justice is super NICE and I love going to see her.
